You’re mistaken again Blazer, the Def Sec is Gavin Williamson, the UK spymaster is Andrew Parker (MI5) or, if you prefer Alex Younger (MI6) or Robert Hannigan (GCHQ). Certainly not the Def Sec.

Fletcher’s woes wouldn’t have happened if it had a woman in charge, says Theresa Gattung.

As the lead in a Stuff story, normalizing everyday sexism again.

I see Garner is rooting for Collins on Stuff. Watching her and Winston head to head would be fun.

Not really for Winston Peters rapier mind is not as sharp as it used to be. He can still read from a prepared speech but thinking on his feet and formulating decisive on the spot replies, would seem sadly, now past him.

@Alan – “I see Garner is rooting for Collins on Stuff.”

He’s got no choice! None. Ratings would plummet if he didn’t support Collins. Breakfast advertisers would bail, and probably parachute over to the competition … and Garner would be replaced by someone willing to root for Collins …

So public-image Garner has to support Collins … even if privately Garner doesn’t support Collins.

It’s an incredibly simple formula … in the nature of Rightie life … Hosking is the same …

Only problem is it’s an extremely irresponsible way to use mass communications …
