“… new Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who at 37 years of age has just completed her first hundred days in office and whom opinion polls tell us is not just the youngest, but the most popular democratic leader in the world.”

  1. Perhaps not many of the National caucus make decisions from what’s on on Morning Report.

Hi…. Red Radio calling. We want to a hatchet job on you… you desperate enough for media ecposure to come on and be belittled? No? Totally understand. Thanks for taking our call (insert Mark, Stephen, Simon, Amy as applicable)

Like why would you talk to such biased interviewers if you dont have too…

Because as leader you do have to speak with all sorts of interviewers, and so should show the caucus how you would handle it?

None of them are leader right now. Nat Radio is a waste of time… eliteist left snobs are uts primary audience…. so not a lot lost by not talking to them at this juncture

Hi … National Radio calling: We want to interview you and this will involve asking you some tough questions, because there’s tough questions poking out a mile from your pasts and from your positions on things, and from your party’s position on things …

Front up, be honest and open, be genuine … Its an opportunity to do major image repair ahead of the leadership selection …

No? Really … Well, okay … Thanks for taking our call. You realize that not showing-up speaks volumes, don’t you?

Oh … you didn’t realize that? Okay … well … Bye!

When they put Arderns feet to the fire and ask her tough questions…..Maybe your comment would make sense.

But as usual your comment just reflects your extreme left wing, authoritarian outlook. Josef Broz would be proud of you….
