      Want a laugh.
Collins is the preferred new leader of the National party on KB on WOBF.

Simon Bridges has around 23 votes, while Amy Adams is up there too with 22 MPs supporting her. In third place is Steven Joyce with five votes, then it’s newbie Mark Mitchell with four votes and in last place is Judith Collins, with two votes – one is her own.…/

      Stock up on popcorn lurch.

Phil Twyford looked baaad on Three News last night. Three News obtained papers under the FOIA act showing Labour can’t deliver on housing. Not enough builders. Not enough people can afford the supposed ‘affordable housing.’ The Minister either lied or was ignorant of the fact a person would need a base annual income of $114,00; not $60,000, to purchase a $500,000 home as Twyford claimed.

To Labour with love, Mr Twyford…from your dear friend, National.

    Mikey’s possibly had an epiphany?
Mike Hosking: This could be the Labour-led government’s stroke of genius

    • PartisanZ

       /  February 26, 2018

Yes, he remarkably gives the Provincial Growth Fund some initial political credit as an idea …

He then proceeds to qualify this by measuring its introductory application solely in terms of economic growth … (which thankfully Labour-led have announced they are thinking beyond).

Naturally, Mikey judges PGF against what National would surely have done anyway … (as though anyone knows) … They sat brooding on ‘Social Investment’ for QUERY: HOW MANY YEARS? without implementing it … while at one stage announcing the reintroduction of ‘Boot Camps’ for the unemployed …

In other words, Mikey spins even begrudging acknowledgement from Red natural-fibre yarn into Blue plastic.

Regrettably, the brain-dead are incapable of epiphany …

The thing I like about Mikey, though, is that he’s rapidly becoming an ageing yuppie right wing caricature. The people that like him can’t see that he’s basically just an unintentional comedian these days, blithering himself into increasing irrelevance & derision. His time has passed. Time for him to try Australia?

No, I think he belongs in the good ole Untited States of America …

He could head down South Kentucky and launch himself a survivalist radio show …

… maybe promotin’ lil’ ole New Zeal Land as a place to buy-up and hide-out when the ‘pocylipse comes …

Hmmm, bad idea … Its all bin SOLD!

‘Banker, lawyer and property developer’s wife on trial over $54m mortgage fraud’ – Herald

“The SFO said Huang began the scam because it was cheaper to fund the operation with home loans from banks rather than via finance companies, due to the higher costs associated with commercial lending.”

‘Mortgage fraud complaints soar’ – Herald – July 2016

“One of these was a $9.2 million racket where banks lent funds on the back of false information and where properties were bought and sold between family and friends.”

Some real HARD NEWS … real BAD NEWS …

“A union for workers at New Zealand’s largest insurer is warning customer-service levels could suffer and the privacy of individual’s information may be at risk under a proposal to move jobs overseas.

But IAG New Zealand, whose brands include State Insurance, AMI, NZI and Lumley, says it needs to send some jobs overseas to keep its insurance premiums affordable and insists privacy levels will be maintained.

First Union spokesman Stephen Parry said it was aware of 159 role disestablishments at the company since November but a further three departments were going through a process called “baselining” where work was assessed to see if it could be done off-shore.”

“”It’s important to us to be connected to our communities across New Zealand.” … The company would not say how many of its 3500 roles would head off-shore.

Parry said the union was disappointed not only for the workers it represented but also by the company’s broader programme of outsourcing and he warned of consequences … “Outsourcing of this nature is bad for all parties concerned, except for (potentially) the short-term profitability of the business … The most immediately affected parties are the New Zealand workers and their families.””

    “And the all-time Winner …..
Has got him by the balls.” – Jethro Tull, ‘Locomotive Breath’

While I do not think that Jacinda Ardern IS attractive, I couldn’t believe the reaction from the Professional Offense-Takers to someone saying that she is. Squawks of ‘sexism !!!’ arose. Get a grip on yourselves. If someone had said this to a man, would these people have been aghast ? You’d think that he’d said something like ‘Phwoarrrr….great tits, girl !’ The P O-Ts must see sexism everywhere.
