    Good morning, Possum.

Some of your rellies have bust some branches off my trees. They never seem to know when a branch is too thin to hold them. Can you tell them that I don’t mind them climbing the trees, but would love it if they could do a short course in branch strength and whether these will hold them ?

I’d also appreciate it if they didn’t wear boots when they do footy practice on the roof.

Had a house with a high pitched roof.
During the night there was a thump on the roof and first thought went to a possum leaping from the closest tree. It was then followed by a bump bump bump noise presumably as the possum lost his footing and rolled off. Was about to go back to sleep when I heard “and keep off” from my eldest sons room.

How funny ! Serve the possum right. Did they play footy and clog dance on the roof as well ? How can soft paws make such a noise ?

I had some wide spouting busted by what had to be a possum falling through. Was it eavesdropping ? (larfs loudly)

An American friend had racoons in the attic, and it sounded as if the racoons had a bowling alley up there. Nobody ever managed to discover what on eath they were doing to make that noise every night.

The grunting, snorting sound that possums make can be unnerving to those who don’t know what it is. A puzzled Belgian who stayed for a night one summer wondered whatever bird made this noise (snorrrrrt, snorrrt, grrruntt) as he’d never heard anything like it before. It was obviously possums that he’d heard.
