They have a very important leadership battle on at the moment – the whole country is at a standstill until that matter is sorted.

You mean they’re sorting it without a whole lot of hoopla?
        Good on The Greens!

The Greens were on the news being po-faced about the university Meat Club supposedly sexualising women, although the logos were designed by a female designer….and although there was a cliched pin-up girl silhouette, there was an equally cliched muscle-man one, too. They can be very precious indeed. Weren’t they ever students themselves ?

1ewes showed clips of male & female students saying tney thought it was offensive & in very bad taste & inappropriate. The university students meat club has agreed & apologised. Looks like David’s main contributions this year are going to be making a dick of himself.

I suspect that 1ewes was being selective. Did they ask about the muscleman silhoutte or just the female one ?

You have a very annoying way, as Corky and Blazer have, of trying to put words into people’s mouths. You can’t have thought that I said or meant that.

I am not going to bother to refute it, you are being obtuse, either deliberately (in which case I’d be giving you what you want if I explained myself) or because you are obtuse (in which case there’d be no point)

All those elderly national supporters who hate Bridges and Jacinda your time has nearly passed so suck it up,Collins has too much baggage and NO ONE LIKES HER in caucus.

Think again, Lurchy. Get someone to muzzle you and head over to WhaleOil. Two great articles by the Whaler and SB. You must have faith in National, Lurchy.

To add injury to insult, Trump is standing at the next American election. Lol.

If Crusher Collins started a new AltRight party on her own would you rush to embrace it Corky or are you more like ACT?think 2 rightwing parties of one…labour would be rejoicing

Do not insult ACT by thinking that it has or would welcome plonkers like Corky, Lurch. Have a heart.

Western elites may deplore the return of nationalism. But they had best not dismiss it, for assertions of national and tribal identity appear to be what the future is going to be all about.

The little green ones shaped like shields ? If one is squashed, the others faint and fall to the ground, I believe.

         /  February 28, 2018

And then THEY can be squashed.

It’s been the cobwebbiest summer ever. The Chinese shop has sold out of cobweb brooms. I have one, but it’s a bit tired. Another Chinese shop has great flyswats, long handles, large swatters and a handy little comb shaped bit to scoop away the bodies, They are also very strong and well worth $2. Bloody flies.Serve the buggers right if they are swatted,

Yes it’s still missing from the right side that on my iPad. It’s right at the end of the posts.

Trump has yet to explain how someone can pull out a handgun, remove the safety catch, aim it and fire before the person who has burst in with their own gun ready has fired their (probably much more powerful) weapon and killed the one with the handgun. .

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/101862288/alison-mau-launches-metoonz-investigation-into-sexual-harassment-in-new-zealand

Stuff and uber virtual signaller and ratings destroyer Mau looking again to label men as awful because of her oft repeated experience 100 years ago in an Australian news organisation. The metoo movement is struggling to find victims outside of the film/media industry and is still largely confined to the US.
Kiwi women tend to pretty direct in rebuffing advances, there are oodles of legal protection here and aside from the HRC harassment seems confined to after work and too much booze. We may have the odd sleazy lawyer but its not a systemic problem here so could she buggar off with her man hating shit, its unnecessary and divisive.

“Aside from the HRC harassment seems confined to after work and too much booze.”

Seems confined but how do you know there are no others besides the HRC situation? And is there an implication that harassment after work or with a factor of too much booze is not so bad or okay?

With 30 years of work have seen a few shenanigans after work (and many times its the woman) but never seen it in the workplace. Often discussed with the wife and her friends in recent times with it being so topical and none have been a victim of it at work…all have experiences in pubs and clubs but hey I have had my crotch grabbed, had my head forced into a large and ugly cleavage and being bald given up counting how many times I have had my head rubbed late at night in a bar/club.
Many women seem to find it insulting that they are portrayed as some sort of weak shrinking thing from days gone by and unable to deliver a short sharp rebuke and deal with pesky advances. Degrading style Shagging for opportunities seems to be a casting couch issue.

Obviously his lies about damning evidence obtained from his fishing expedition didn’t survive scrutiny by his legal team.
