    Aljajeera tv news:

Turkey’s President Erdogan yesterday announced that Turkey’s Free Syrian Army allies have completely surrounded the Northern Syrian town of Afrin & expected to take it in offensive to begin within hours. His message apparently included that if Turkish troops had conducted this operation the battle would already be over – but that for humanitarian reasons if had engaged the Syrian FSA instead to minimise civlian casualties.

The Kurdish YPG has now issued a public call to Kurds everywhere to come to Afrin to form a human chain to surround the town, & busloads of Kurdish civilians were reported to already be on their way to do so.

The Kurds are urging the UN Security Council to intervene and stop the “Turkish invasion of Afrin”. The KCK organisation says stopping the invasion has become a historic responsibility and called upon all Kurds and their supporters to organize demonstrations in front of Russian and US embassies.

It also called upon all Kurds to join the human shield action in Afrin and added: “Those who can reach Afrin should immediately go there and become a shield against this genocide”.

A commentator stated that Turkey claims the enclave of Afrin belongs to Turkmen & Syrian Arabs, & that Kurdish forces are invaders. The Turks actually assisted ISIS forces to attack Syrian Kurds. Each of the many ethnic groups factions fighting in Syria fears victory by their opponents will result in ethnic cleansing. The Kurds have had to consider whether they wanted to emulate the rebels in Aleppo & Eastern Ghouta & keep civilians in the town in the hope that civilian casualties will force the world to notice & intervene, he said.

The Mirror is breaking a story of grooming and mass gang paedophilia on a scale that dwarfs Rotherham. It concerns Telford a city with a population of only 170,000.

My heart goes out to England as it comes to terms with this latest horror. The systemic and societal shortfalls here are astronomical.

Meanwhile closer to home in rural NSW a man who admits to child rape is given suspended sentence.

This is really sickening trav the judge is wrong and the reasons why TM was given the soft hand were …
“The judge noted TM’s diabetes, high cholesterol and chronic kidney disease would be difficult to treat in prison, where he would have to be contained in isolation”.
and don’t forget the he did it because never had sex ed lessons
He pleaded guilty to 10 counts of historic sex crimes on two girls aged 10 and 13

The judge … “let a bloke that pleaded guilty to 2 counts of rape of an 8 year old girl and a 10 year old school girl walk free from the Dubbo court house”.
          He pleaded guilty!!!!! FFS.
“The rapist still attends the church where he committed the crimes”.

Those children and parents must surely be in another church now,
because the church have turned their heads away from this
gross heinous crime and gross heinous sentence
Religious get out of jail cards just sucks big time.

You GO Mark … “Attorney General Mark Speakman said he would look into an appeal if the Director of Public Prosecutions opted against it, calling the crime ‘heinous'”.

Normalising paedophilia is big business; in big business.
          While my guitar gently weeps.
