    PookAir: Yesterdays flights. No incidents.

Bluey PA01 Tree to Tree (slow motion)

(Sorry – I thort he was going to fly down, not up)

Aspen PA02 Tree to Parenga (normal speed)

(Returning from Fluffy Flatface Cat watch)

    That is all.

(More of a parachute jump than a flight from Aspen, really.)

It’s called freefall and requires some skill.

My Maltese once stepped off a table into space. Stepped, not jumped. He didn’t hurt himself at all, just strolled away as if he’d stepped off a doorstep, I still don’t know why he didn’t break all his legs.

I’d love to see a photo or video of a pook running up a tree, as it’s a wonderful sight and I can’t believe that I was lucky enough to see it ! I don’t imagine that anyone has ever been able to film it. The one I saw was so fast that even if I’d had a camera, I couldn’t have filmed the gymnast.

No, there don’t seem to be any.

I wonder if many people are so heartless that they could see even a photo of a baby pook and not smile and say ‘Ohhhhh…how SWEET !’

They must be the prettiest, most charming baby birds in the world.
