  1. It must be so galling for the progressives to realise that their hero, Mr Obama, spent more time with Max Key than with the Prime Minister. It shows where his priorities are.

What is the bet that Jacinda will trot out the photo of her with Obama at every opportunity she can while Max won’t?

Ah, the idle rich. Do you burn up inside, Blazer? Or do you seek help? There’s nothing wrong with seeking help…you will still be a nasty socialist at heart.

Hosking gave Mr Obama a 4 actually I’m surprised he gave him that,he being Hosking and being to the right and he stated he was low energy tired,36 holes of golf can do that.Mr Hosking cannot get his true hero out of his head, low energy is a Trump term.

Don’t insult mongrels. Some of my dogfriends are mongrels and they are very nice animals indeed. Dear Spot, the pigdog, isn’t dog Mensa material, but he would never be as stupid as the idiot you describe !

She asked Obama how he dealt with the guilt of being a parent and a world leader, and his advice was to “do the best you can”.

He probably wanted to reply “Michelle had them and I governed much like you and really didnt do a hell of a lot more than throw put a few soundbites that suited whichever audience were in front of me, media loved me so there was little scrutiny”.

Apologies please and if you think losing is avoiding a coalition with NZ First happy to be on that team. Lefties are getting exceptionally personal and bitter perhaps a reflection that they are just a tad disappointed with how things have worked out.

Still no apologies ? Nope probably still mortified that she would actually say something so monumentally ridiculous.
Wait till you read her op ed on Stuff and the comments that follow, going to be a long few years trying to find ways of defending the most ill prepared government ever witnessed.

            Stuff report;
“She asked Obama how he dealt with the guilt of being a parent and a world leader, and his advice was to “do the best you can.”
Which is probably useful advice, even if it is a bit generic”.

Was your reply to me quoting Ardern and now you have just published exactly the same quote. Guess I wasnt “making shit up” but pleasing to see what your real reaction is to her nonsense.

I think the point is, it seems pretty useless advice – unless she was planning NOT to do the best she can?

It was a stupid question – what did she expect him to say ? What could anyone say ? They are hardly in the same league, his children were not born while he was in office…of course he’d say that it was exciting that the baby was coming. he could hardly say it wasn’t.

Poor Patrick Gower. making a wally of himself stalking the golf game with a telephoto lens.

Nick wants to hold on. Not looking good for Labour though, eh Patz? There will be lots of new National blood coming through. Diverse too…Indians and Asians.

Meanwhile, by the next election, the sight of Jacinda, Jonsey, Phil and Grant will make the voters puke.

Joyce is a list MP so no by-election. In terms of Coleman I agree but did you speak out about Shearer & Goff doing the same thing? If not, why not?

  7. Patzcuaro

     /  March 23, 2018

Nick must be still navel gazing, he should do the decent thing and see out his term r maybe he hasn’t had a good enough offer yet.

    • PDB

       /  March 23, 2018

Nick Smith just reiterated again on the radio he doesn’t believe electorate MP’s should leave before completing their term – which I agree with.

A lot of left-wingers said bugger all about Shearer & Goff doing the same thing in recent times and costing taxpayers. Goff was in fact far worse by spending a year electioneering to become Mayor of Auckland whilst being paid as an MP.

Poor Penny, even her core base is deserting her and her million dollar home..

“Auckland University of Technology (AUT) senior lecturer Kate Nicholls was familiar with Bright’s case, but felt she had “no real legal leg to stand on”, and said Bright was losing the support of the activist community.

“As a student of social movements and activism I would say that campaigns such as these only work if the action is taken collectively and supported more generally by the activist community,” Nicholls said.

“The problem for Ms Bright is that this has been something of a one-woman campaign, and while she may have once had strong links with the activist community, she has lost support for various reasons over the years and is now quite isolated in her fight.”

Personality politics and generational divide around the cause meant that Bright’s words didn’t carry as much weight as they once did, she said.”
