Media Watch is a focus on New Zealand media, blogs and social media. You can post any items of interested related to media.

A primary aim here is to hold media to account in the political arena. A credible and questioning media is an essential part of a healthy democracy.

A general guideline – post opinion on or excerpts from and links to blog posts or comments of interest, whether they are praise, criticism, pointing out issues or sharing useful information.

    A valid point made by Hehir that National survived many wobbles and issues with no perceptible affect on their polling, a caveat to that was they were actually making a good fist of running the country and folk had loads of confidence in them and were tired of the previous mob and wernt interested in their shrieking.
    There is not nearly enough polling in NZ.

      Counties Manukau Health has two hospitals. You would think RNZ would have be big enough to have a decent research arm.

      Bill English must have big questions to answer over the role of his wife Mary in organisations funded by the Govt…as well on this basis.
