If you’re going continue with this anti-Jafa obsession thing you need to jump the Cook and move further South, Lurchy. That’s where most the people with this overcompensating low self-esteem problem live. Those of us with a few clues who live in the rest of the North Island don’t buy into that & Aucklanders are just getting on with their lives & don’t even bother to pay any attention to this petty shit, let alone respond in kind.

Course ya don’t give a fuk about em mate. That’s why you rant on about the place every second day. Cos ya don’t give a fuk about them. They’re even less interested in your ranting mate. They’ve got better things to do than give a bugger about your ranting about them. Most people have.

“The Hurricanes have admitted a post that used the phrase “Taranaki Land War” to promote a Super Rugby clash with the Chiefs was a bad call.

The post, which appeared briefly on the Hurricanes’ Facebook and Twitter pages on Tuesday night, was immediately lambasted on social media as naive, ignorant and offensive.

“Look, we were simply trying to promote a rugby game and it was a bad call, and it was taken down as soon as we realised it could potentially be offensive,” Hurricanes spokesman Glenn McLean said.”
            ………………………………………………
            Fuckwits, Lurch.

“Marama Davidson: Does she agree that the state of the books she inherited from National represents a moral and fiscal deficit”
    Ardern said, yes, quite rightly.

       /  April 11, 2018

Most insightful and comprehensive answer ever from Ardern, erudite and probing question from the intellectual genius that is Davidson lets hope these two giant minds will solve all of societies woes.
Glad to see the planet is of secondary concerns and my enormous carbon footprint remains unsullied and under no threat whatsoever.

“Yes” is clear. The implications are disturbing. The Government’s been left a mess by the previous.

           /  April 11, 2018

You jest. Naive new Government promises nirvana. Every bureaucracy rushes to it with its so urgent wish-list for heaps more money. New Government blames old Government for not coughing up. Hopes media will soon forget all its ridiculous promises and new unmet demands.

How is that the National government’s fault if they had money for building maintenance and didn’t spend it? If they had money for building maintenance and didn’t spend it Labour needs to spend it. If they won’t give them enough to fix it, then they need to wear the problem. That’s how it works when your Finance Minister’s a numpty.

              The Minister is responsible.

A hospital rotted under Coleman’s watch…but that’s okay with you, Gezza?
Yes, Labour needs to fix it, after all, National needed to fix it (but didn’t).

            • Gezza

               /  April 11, 2018

Of course it’s not ok with me. When did National need to fix it. The Minister of the time wasn’t told & can prove it. Why did the hospital not fix it? Before it got this bad? What have you found out there?
Anyway, now Grant & David have got to fix it seeing you’ve decided it’s the Minister’s job. So they’ll either have to borrow more, tax (psst levy) more, or pull funding for some Green intiatives. It’s not like they need the Greens’ votes is it?

I wish they’d show the full Prime Minister’s post cabinet press conferences on the Parliamentary website too. Those cover a lot of ground and it’s no use relying on Katie Bradford or Andrea Vance to cover them adequately – 2 second sound bite on whatever teensy portion of the show they want to have fun with themselves, if you’re lucky.

And someone should get off their arse and organise the audio or visual display of the concurrent translations of Maori the MPs are hearing and viewers are not – and don’t get to see for hours – if they remember to go looking for them.

        Slack.

Does the Green’s commitment to transparency extend to blocking access to Curran’s voicemail message in order to protect her?

The Key government had the same problem so it’s not unexpected but there’ll be plenty who thought she was referring to Grant’s pre-election budget.

As an xtra to show how KIWIBLOG and David Farrar is nothing now but an echo chamber and his blog is just a empty spaceI”It is no surprise that Briskman lost her job.
If someone in New Zealand (for example) yelled out to our Prime Minister a string of obscenities, then I suspect their employer would not like the collateral reputation damage to them” NOT TOTALLY CORRECT KIWIBLOG
ME,She is suing her old company for a peppercorn settlement, as she has the right under CON No1 and she has won the public respect, including heaps of money and support PLUS THE LAW IS ON HER SIDE Mr Farrar….try harder . remember the ALTRIGHT echo chamber effect

I have no time for Donald Trump at all, but I think that the dunny paper that I saw on an Australian website said more about the people who designed it, stock it and buy it than it does about the person whose face is printed on it.I hope that the online shop gets the message and unsubscibes me this time.
