The public are being prepped for Labour to break their fiscal election promise, the opinion writers have all been briefed and persuaded and are doing Arderns bidding in softening up the public.
The salient fact is the surplus is larger by 500 million, she blew the budget on free university for the middle class election bribe, she is giving heating subsidies to millionaire retirees, baby bonuses to wealthy new Mums etc etc which I dont have a problem with because she campaigned on them but dont bullshit us with a problem in one hospital building that no one has ever mentioned before suddenly means you can go crazy with the chequebook.
Joyce was correct, she left nothing for pay rises or other things that pop up and there is a dirty great big fiscal hole.

Soper makes some good points especially that we have better things to spend 2 million bucks on, rather nurses got it than the waffling Palmer.

Yeah, well, $26 million would have been better spent on any number of things instead of the Flag Change Debacle …

Heck, that’s fully 2 km of brand new 4 lane motorway ….

I listened to ZB last night.. the main topic was the Losses by the Silver Ferns & the ‘teary eyed’ response from their Capt. (Ms Grant)

Most agreed that just putting on the Black-dress does not ensure victory, other countries have improved/beaten NZ recently: England, Jamaica & Malawi !

They need to actually ‘put on their game faces’ & not just expect to win.. whilst being in ‘cruize control’

I wish them well.. BUT they need to PROVE themselves, not just; walk on court & expect glory.. based on previous Comm. games

J-May may have been harsh.. but she was telling them to ‘pull their fingers out’ I agree !!

What is it about Australia that when things don’t work out all right people have to feckin blubber about it on tv. Doesn’t happen here. Must be something in the water or the air – all I can think of. Bloody put ya big girl pants on & toughen up!
