Bugger it, I’m going out & getting a steak & mushroom pie for breakfast from the Cambodians & I don’t give damn! I really feel like one & it’s not like I’m always doing it, is it?

Cambodians seem to be born bakers, even though pies etc are not Cambodian cuisine.

A Camodian/Vietnamese baker whom I knew had a house on the North Shore that he rented out so that he could live near the Waikato business that he was building up. His two daughters were at one of Hamilton’s best schools and university was a given. Not bad for a former boat person who really was one, like the ones we used to see on the news !!!

I may have wasted my money buying a wasp trap ! There has been great activity in the tree/s where wasps have been seen (pittosporums that are close together) with birds flying in, branches shaking and who knows how many birds at any given time. I began to wonder if the little sweethearts ate wasps…and they do ! Natural wasp control. Let’s hope that that’s what the attraction is and that the birds help themselves to as many as they like.
