I wonder if I could give a night class in bird whispering?

I would love a video of the bird seen flying with something on a wisp of grass like a tiny helicopter and monsoon bucket.

Most of ‘my’ sparrers are ordinary, but there are a few dunnocks.

The hedgehog is still around and leaving calling cards, I kicked them off the path to be sure that any I saw were new, and more were there the next day.

Not that I needed to see them, the dog’s nightly fury tells me that Tiggywinkle is in residence.

I came across two different hedgehogs looking very cute & cuddly, in different homes, in some 2017 best vids compilation or other on Youtube last night. It was in the US. One of them was cuddled up with a dog. Was it you who said they keep them as pets over there?

The sell them in petshops, and they are quite expensive – or they were in Canada.

We once looked after two baby tiggys. One would have stayed forever, I believe, food and drink laid on, warm bed, but his brother wanted to go and climbed out as soon as he was big enough. He seemed to be making the other one go, too, They were very, very sweet, and as babies they were enchanting.

I saw something like that this morning. What’s that dunnock got in his mouth I wondered, as it hopped past. It wasn’t a piece of bread. Then I realised it was a wispy, downy feather. Might be nest-building. Although I dunno if they’d lay eggs & raise chicks just before Winter.

Very rare for me to see a big house sparrow these days. All dunnocks.

That blackbird in the video is how I ended up with those cute clips of Hetty. I was making a coffee & the blackie was hopping about on the lawn, & suddenly he found a worm. He had to really work to get it all out of the ground, but after pulling and pulling, he did, then he ate it all. I whipped the mobile out & started videoing to see if I could catch him getting another.

It’s gruesome but fascinating to see a thrush demolishing a snail. Poor snail, it’s too late to rescue them.

Anyone else on here got a crypto asset portfolio? What’s your strategy, HODL or trade?

The market is warming up again after the epic bust, could get real interesting when and if BTC passes the US$10000 line.
