      @Kitty

      Yay! I did find one on my reviewing cellcam footage.

      A few of my regular party of sparrow diners have now taken to giving me the heads up when they see me in my kitchen. Some of them have put on some really stunning aerial dances right outside the window but it’s usually unexpected and over before I can get them on camera, and they’re camera shy when I ask them to repeat the performance.

      I think this is Barry but I can’t tell for sure. It wasn’t much of a dance from him tbh. More of a hopeful wave, I think. I’m hoping I’ll catch an entire 2 or 3 second dance eventually.

        He’s not quite up to the fantail ballet, but it’s not bad for a beginner. The fantail ballet was stunning, both the pas seul and the pas de deux. I do wonder if I was seeing the dress rehearsal before he tried it on his girl.

        My clients wait in the big tree and then spread the word.

  2. I watched an interesting movie last night based on a true story about Florence Foster Jenkins. She was prominent in high society music circles in New York, but was a terrible singer.

    “In fact, she can sing everything except notes … Much of her singing was hopelessly lacking in a semblance of pitch, but the further a note was from its proper elevation the more the audience laughed and applauded.”

    She had some recordings done , here’s one:

    And another version for comparison:

    …I’m not much into opera normally but this is impressive.= by Swiss singer Regula Mühlemann.
