    For all those who think NZ should be at the forefront of reducing our CO2 emissions to lead the world, because it will make a difference, here is a little counterfactual

    Each one of those 1600 plants will burn more coal than NZ currently does.
    And note that in shutting down its old coal plants, China didn’t turn to renewables, it burnt gas.

      Looks like a very worthwhile investigation. Before Ben Rhodes was “one of Barack Obama’s top national security advisers” he was, errr, nobody. This guy ends up negotiating a huge deal that results in pallets of cash (literally, so much cash it was palletised and shipped as cargo) in exchange for what exactly?

      Seems far more legitimate than investigating Russia’s involvement with Brexit, or other fantasies.
