Mikey cleaned up at the Radio awards last night. National Socialist Radio just scrapped by.

Quite mean of them not to acknowledge Mikey’s greatness.

I’m glad to hear that, Lurchy. Mikey is like a toxic reagent for you. Plenty of National Socialist Radio will do wonders for your constitution and return you to state of glowing health.

I’m quite pissed off about the Mike’s Minute video … I like to see whose jacket he’s wearing each day. His or his wife’s. 😐

Just shows how lousy she is at comms though. If she left it off, it sounds more genuine. Adding that just makes it sound like she needs to because she knows no one would believe it.

Marcus Lush was named best talk presenter because nobody listens to his show and bothers to phone in thus he has to talk a lot.

Nick Smith made a big thing out of this at Question Time yesterday but some of it was sheer blimmin comedy because he kept saying pages had been re-dated and being told by Trev he meant “redacted”. He held up two pages that both were completely greyed out.

        • Thing is Ms Curran is the least open and transparent member of that labour crew. It’d be hard to find anything more ironic than the fact the very foundation document for the “strategy for Openness and Transparency” was completely redacted.

Its weird and she is an ideological tyrant with no grounding in the real world at all. Open? Transparent? Not how she’ll be remembered at all.

          Carol Hirschfeld anyone?

I saw that on 3. Silly moo, She also wants small children to ask before they touch each other. Her mind must be really filthy if it sees a small child touching another one in any way as a precursor to sex abuse (does she see all physical contact as sexual ?) or sees something wrong with nappy changing. Permission to change a nappy, indeed. What next ? Asking its permission to to give birth to it ?

Maybe this bloke praising Labour breaking promises over Kiwibuild perhaps?

“Now in official documentation, it’s been replaced with this: “KiwiBuild aims to facilitate the delivery of 100,000 affordable dwellings.” Political observors are noting this is a broken promise and thrashing the government for it and that’s fair enough. But out of the beltway and in the real world I’d like to say this: I want to congratulate the government and Mr Twyford.”

The Samoan Prime Minister just said on 1ewes at 6 that he’s grateful for the $700 million in aid from NZ but that, as a small Pacific Island nation, no single donor can meet all their needs for aid, and that is why it is important for them to “widen their sphere of friends”. 😐

Well I do think it’s a salutary reminder that they have played aid donors off for decades & will continue to do so. But they aren’t alone there. Most countries that have to rely on aid will do so. And this is a reality check for anyone in NZ diplomatic circles who think Pacific countries’ loyalty or acquiescence to our foreign policy expectations can be bought.
