An illustration why some peploe are really idiotic when it comes to climate change.
Recently on this blog three (redacted) were gibbering about record cold and trying to make out it somehow makes a dent in global warming.
Two of them have post grad degrees so can not be excused due to lack of intelligence.
Looking at less then 5% of the earths surface and claiming record cold so global warming is bull makes you a special sort of (redacted). The earth surface experienced its third highest April temperatures since records began in 1880.

Horrendous. Well, not really. Slowly reverting to normality after the El Nino peak:

        Oh look space cadet
You live 10 km up do you Alan ?
Not only do you fail to knowledge your original stupidity you now post a graph that is not even of the earths surface were we live.
You do know that Dr Roys effort has been corrected multiple times by others due to basic errors?

As to “Slowly reverting to normality after the El Nino peak”
Kidding your self yet again mate.
We know ENSO effects global temperatures .

This last year has been the hottest la Nina year and the third hottest over all on record.

As this information has been pointed out to you multiple times one must really question your thinking processes and honesty ….with your self.

Considering the number and frequency of corrections and adjustments in the temperature sets you like to cite your arrogant hypocrisy is staggering, Griff.

Chew on this from that link too:
Climate models predict that as the surface warms, so should the global troposphere. Globally, the troposphere should warm about 1.2 times more than the surface; in the tropics, the troposphere should warm about 1.5 times more than the surface.

According to your masters the satellite data should show more warming than surface measurements, not less. Ooops.

Satellites dont measure the surface or even temperatures and are known to be less accurate the actual thermometers*.
We can see that with the huge discrepancy between RSS and UHA using the same source data or even the change between different versions of Dr Roys fuckup .

As to the adjustments to surface thermometer data .
Whacko conspiracy nonsense used to confuse the gullible.
Here is global net adjusted compered to net unadjusted data
The adjustments reduce warming and over all are not significant.
You have been feed rubbish .
Lets just use raw data and have more warming….

In June 2017, version 4 of the TLT was released and this substantially revised upwards the trend from 1979 by 36% from .135K per decade to .184K per decade.

Here on planet earth RSS is possibly not very accurate if the leader of RSS says using microwave brightest to deduce temperature trends is not as accurate as surface measurements.

Jesus H and Mohammad the goat boy you have issues if you need to make up rubbish to defend your position.
Especially as its right here in front of anyone who cares to check back who is talking sense and who gibbers dribble.

              Cognitive dissonance

In the field of psychology, cognitive dissonance is the mental discomfort (psychological stress) experienced by a person who simultaneously holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values. The occurrence of cognitive dissonance is a consequence of a person performing an action that contradicts personal beliefs, ideals, and values; and also occurs when confronted with new information that contradicts said beliefs, ideals, and values.

Work your way though it mate.
You have the intelligence you just need to let go of the quasi religious belief system that stops your brain operating rationally.

Their country Pete – not a Ghetto owned by Israel. Egypt maintains a hard border with Gaza as well, because they don’t trust the Gazans under Hamas one bit – what reporting do we see from that border? Not a lot…

IF the Gazans stopped lobbing rockets, stopped the stabbings etc their cause would have far more moral suasion. They could easily take all the aid money and create a free trade zone… but Hamas chooses not to. And then the case for one country in that area could be made and would be hard to refute…

Instead they continue with a provocation and using rhetoric that says wipe the Jews out….

    Afghanistan: The General

Last year, US President Donald Trump announced a “new” strategy for his country’s forces in Afghanistan. The plan involved reversing his predecessor’s phased withdrawal, bumping up the number of US troops to as many as 15,000, and giving new authority to US commanders to strike the Taliban in an effort to force the group to eventually negotiate a truce with the Afghan government.

But almost 17 years since the original US-led invasion, there are no signs that this approach is proving any more successful than those that have gone before it. Indeed, a string of brutal attacks over the past few months, killing and injuring hundreds of innocent Afghans, have shown the stark reality of the fragile and worsening state of security in Afghanistan. It’s made even worse by the increasingly bloody contribution of Daesh (or ISIS-K as it’s known locally) to the fray.

General John Nicholson is the man charged with implementing Trump’s strategy. He is the “Four Star” controlling Resolute Support and counter-terrorism in the region, and after his appeals to the US Senate for more troops, fresh boots on the ground began arriving in 2017. But under his watch the general has also seen an emboldened insurgency take control of large parts of the country and launch attacks seemingly at will.

People & Power sent correspondent Sue Turton to meet the general now in overall charge of foreign forces in Afghanistan to ask whether and how this bloody and interminable conflict can ever be brought to an end.

But Gezza the USA won the Afghanistan war way back in 2001.
The winning worked so well they went and done it again in few other country’s since.
