I just watched the ‘interview’ on Newshub Nation with Dr Megan Woods, about the issues in Taranaki with winding back oil/gas explanation.. the big issue: Ms Owen needs to learn to ask & question & allow the interviewee to actually answer, before talking over it or moving to the next one !

Ms Owen seemed to be sounding like a Natl party MP (in training); ‘what are the figures, what is the time frame & why havent you consulted on any of this’ ?! (paraphrased) without even looking/sounding like she was listening to Megan’s answers 😦
    “Disgraceful” sez I

Outrageous. Sounds like she is as bad ever. She used to do exactly the same things to National Ministers. Extremely rude & aggressive & interrupted so continually that you often never even heard a Minister’s answer: lucky if they got 6 words out before she was talking over the top of them – so bad I gave up watching The Nation. They need to get rid of her.

The cow thing is interesting. Govt says we have far too many cows and lookee we suddenly have a nasty disease where we can reduce cow numbers with full, some, no compensation depending on who you listen too. I do wonder if some eco warrior is behind this disease but even if not the lefties will be salivating over the chance to screw over farmers.

  3. It is too bad Lisa would not interrupt the arrogant Children’s Commissioner. He is talking about how we raise the age for the Youth Court up to even 19 as the frontal lobes are not fully developed. This is correct. However, he has been very sympathetic to lowering the voting age. How does such a person get selected to be a judge?

Why promote the drivelling idiocy about frontal lobe development? There is bugger all evidence it means anything at all. Young people are learning all kinds of things and skills without being handicapped by physical brain development. Evolution would certainly have ensured that survival was supported by sufficient faculties far before the age of 20.
