He has also represented three different electorates:

      Hunua 79-81
      Tauranga 84-05
      Northland 15-17

And at a stretch he has represented three parties if you include being an independent in 1993.
A lot of three strikes, but what is the punishment?

I watched Q-time today, there was a question to the housing minister about the ‘Meth/P debacle’ in public housing: (paraphrased)

    1) previous Govt. has created a hysteria around it; ZERO-Tolerance
    2) one particular tenant was mentioned, who was evicted (a positive test) who claimed he or anyone who visited, never used Meth, it was possible the traces found, was leftover from a previous occupant
    3) the Chief Scientist (Gluckman) had confirmed that the ‘miniscule amounts’ often detected, would have no effect on tenants & were way below usual prescribed limits
    4) even suggesting; it was an attack on public housing tenants (low wage/beneficiaries) by the previous Govt.

A review of the previous minister & housing NZ exec. had been commissioned & would be actioned. Just highlighted the complete irrational fear-mongering about ‘DRUGS’ whipped up by Natl MPs !! 😦
