Visually couldn’t find a decent vid, but nonetheless a raw-voiced, soulful number. Turn on your subwoofer

People are still making and other people are still watching Survivor.

    Why ?

Some folk who don’t do anything much like to live vicariously through others, even though these sorts of series have become farcical.

I have never seen one, but have seen the promos and they all seem identical. I wonder why the makers don’t save their money and rotate old ones; the people who watch wouldn’t notice.

A chap came walking along the stream bank with a torch tonight & when I said hiya & what was he up to he was looking for their cat, who’s been missing for 48 hours. He’s a pedigree cat (I forget, what type, but it’s a black/brown long haired exotic breed). I said “Oh yes, I’ve met him. He’s come wandering along the stream, over the fence & waltzed through my yard miawing about three times at night. Very chatty, very friendly, likes a pat. He was curling around my legs 3 nights ago when I was out in my patio looking up at Mars.”

The young chap said they normally keep him locked in at night. I’ve taken his name & number & told him if their puss-puss turns up again I’ll let him inside, feed him, & give them a call. A cat this curious & friendly can easily wind up locked inside someone’s garage or shed for a day or two. Or get enticed to stay somewhere else.

My cat Toby, when I was a kid, disappeared for six months & then came home again, none the worse for wear. And another male cat of ours several years ago disappeared for 3 days, had been unknowingly locked in a neighbours shed. I hope this wee furry chappy turns up safe & sound.

This chap with the torch met my pooks. They all knew someone was coming.
