Spare me, fresh from being the holiday grinch the party of one David Seymour is now giving advice on how to negotiate with the EU from a nearby dance…studio.

Fraud, fake, new age bs or a miracle?

    Synopsis:

You can use your mind to heal yourself by believing yourself back to health. People trained in this ability can also heal others by creating a sympathetic vibration for the healing of patients. This video purports to show a patient healed of a bladder tumour in a matter of minutes while attached to an Ultra Sound Machine showing the tumour disintegrate.

Yes. Except in the rather stretched sense of a marvel, I don’t believe there are inexplicable events attributable to the magical intervention of deities. This idea of mind healing cancers is New Age, I think this claim is fraudulent & the video is possibly also faked.

There are reports that Med-cannabis can cure cancer too.. but it is still being disputed & ridiculed.. by many in the mainstream, who still think “its all just an excuse to legalise weed”

Try having a more open mind ??? perhaps…

         /  June 22, 2018

I’d be surprised if it could actually cure it, I must say, or it would have been doing it when it was used as a medicine before.

What evidence can you link us to that credibly rebuts the David Grimes article in PDB’s post? Which makes it clear that cannabis doesn’t cure cancer.

            • PDB

               /  June 22, 2018

The key point from the article: “A 2017 review by the National Academy of Science looked at over 10,000 studies. They found evidence for some applications of cannabis, including managing chronic pain and spasms associated with multiple sclerosis.

There was also good evidence that tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis, can reduce the nausea caused by chemotherapy.

Indeed, a synthetic form of THC, called dronabinol, has been prescribed for just this use for decades.

But, crucially, there is zero evidence that cannabis has any curative or even helpful impact on cancer, despite enthusiastic claims to the contrary.”

try these.. I read that a Doctor in Israel (who champions the issue) said the biggest block on medicinal use, has been the lack of research.. driven by Prohibition, Big pharma etc. with other agendas & ignorant people, who have narrow minds !

This IS nonsense; GW Pharma. (who make Sativex from raw herb) & others have stated that synthetics (Dronabinol etc.) are not as effective as the real extracts. They only mimic THC/CBDs & are less effective

White supremacist Corks. His theory that intelligence & civilised behaviour are genetically based in ascending order according to racial stereotyping & his assertion DNA will show this is based on flawed understandings of genetics, culture, upbringing and environment. And in fact his theory falls over at the first hurdle when you look at, say, the Nazis & the SS, Stormtroopers, etc, KKK, Anericans at My Lai (and all the other US massacres in Vietnam that didn’t get filmed & thus reported etc etc. Just another racist academic spouting eugenics.

First frost on all the rooves & lawns this morning.

We’re doin’ it tough in North Welly. -1° at 8am, ma said.
    -4° in The Hutt.

Just as well we’re rugged types here.

    Sun’s out now.

We keep being told that one’s coming, but only one Clayton’s one has ever appeared. Last night didn’t even have that frost coming feeling, and it was quite summery today.

According to Stuff it’s currently 6°C outside. Just been out to the fence & Sweety let me know (just one little eeook) that she’s bedded down over the far parenga in the dark somewhere & could see me. Venus has disappeared. There’s no wind but the air’s like ice out there – cuts right through your clothes. I’ve put the house thermometer out there for a few minutes to check. Feels a lot colder than 6°C. Another frost in the morning I think. Unless it rains.

        • Gezza

           /  June 22, 2018

It’s actually 9°C outside in my patio. Still no wind. But much warmer than I thought.
This morning felt nippy and there was frost everywhere, but it didn’t feel like -1°C: it feels colder out there now than if felt this morning. Curious.

Last time we had one forecast it didn’t have that frost-coming feel, but last night was a bit friz. and I made sure that the (crassula) was well covered. It’s been looking like a blushing bride for a while, poor thing, hidden under a frost cloth that hasn’t been needed.

Today it’s mild enuff for bare feet and a cotton caftan.

Andrew Kirton resigns…no doubt trying to bury the sexual assault claims has seen him given the big push.

“Labour commissioned Wellington lawyer Maria Berryman in March to investigate how it handled the affair, its general culture and any other incidents of sexual harassment or abuse within the party. She had three months to report back and her findings were not to be made public but go to key party leaders.

Berryman only recently spoke to some of the five victims of the assaults at the camp.

Police have been investigating and have indicated a charge may yet be laid against the person accused of the late-night assaults on young party supporters, one as young as 16.”

Not a total surprise. I wondered if he’d jack it in once a respectable period of time had passed after everyone first pretended he hadn’t made it into a complete clusterfuck.

      • PDB

Sounds like Berryman is on the case – she had 3 months to report back on the case starting March but according to that report had only ‘recently’ spoke to ‘some’ of the alleged victims.

Obviously the previous 11 or so weeks has been filled with burying bodies, finding a fall guy (Kirton) and everybody rehearsing their lines (lies).

Gonna be another icy night in Welly but the sky’s crystal clear. If you’ve got clear skies where you are Venus is beautifully bright low in the West and Jupiter is by far the brightest star a couple of fingers to the right of the half moon at the current time – 5.40 pm. Yes I saw there was a fantastic meteor down south Wanaka way the night of the 20th, even a sonic boom – I read about it belatedly in the Herald today. Some said it was green, some blue – so it had a lot of magnesium in it. I’ve seen a spectacular one of those that never got reported but no sonic boom. I’m so damn envious. After years of sky watching I’ve yet to see a decent meteor shower too. There are several of these every year. Every time one’s been due, Wellington’s skies have been overcast all bloody night.

What do you want to see? Just a small floor inlet vent in the room and a little digital thermostat controller. Underneath is the burner with inlet and exhaust pipes and a tiny fuel line (1.25mm ID) with a metering fuel pump that feeds the burner.

Go outside now or in the next few hours and look just a bit North of straight up, Venus is just to the right of the moon, and further right, on the other side of the Milky Way, Mars is magnificent. You’ll recognise it straight away from the colour. Both of these planets are outshining the stars. You can’t miss them.
