Winston thinks this guy is a child needing protection… in my eyes he is a kiwi born thug who Australia have every right to deport. 17 is a minor under legal definition, but this lad is a coward and a thug acting well beyond his years, and deserves no sympathy…

Aren’t we lucky as Kiwi’s to have so many of these lovely wannabe thugs prancing around Aussie doing damage and smearing all Kiwi’s with their actions..

The 17-year-old boy is the youngest New Zealander to be detained since the special powers came into effect in December 2014. Born in New Zealand, the teen and his family moved to Australia when he was 11.

By the age of 17, he had landed himself in a Sydney juvenile detention centre. While his offences have not been disclosed, his lawyer argues they are “stock standard” and not enough to spark deportation.

But just as he was about to be released, the boy was instead taken more than 12 hours away to an immigration holding centre in Melbourne and has been awaiting deportation since March. His lawyer has called for the boy to be released back to his family in Sydney and said he’s worried for the teen’s mental health.
      ….
It would be good to know what he’s actually done. I can understand why people like Caleb Malaku & “the human crime wave” lady got sent back here. When we get cases like this reported here people clamour for them to be sent back to the islands or wherever they came from. It’s more problematic when their parents live here. Here, they’re probably more likely to be allowed to remain, but that’s a guess.

This kid’s parents still live in Oz. I’d really like to know what he’s done. If he’s another Caleb Malaku, I’ve got no problem with it.

Got to ask yourself why Kiwi’s keep getting deported like this….

It doesn’t matter what he has done you have deemed him to be a ‘thug’ with no evidence. I presume you label anyone who has done anything wrong a ‘thug.’

I had to read that article closely a 2nd time because it was a bit confusing & initially I thought the 17 year old being referred to was Caleb Malaku – until I got to the point where it said he was already deported, in March. No doubt that he behaved like a thug,

Wondering if Trev skimmed the article too quickly & made the same mistake.

Ummm – this quote of a defence lawyer asking for discharge without conviction for someone you outed a rape victim who had name suppression takes the cake for wtfism this morning…

Seriously, how could you EVER think this could fly as a lawyer????

“Defence lawyer Susan Hurley asked Sygrove not to enter a conviction and for the matter to be adjourned as she would be seeking a discharge without conviction for her client.

“As it would impact on my client’s future career prospects – she is in the education system,” she said.”

More thought about the career prospects of a criminal over a victim? just WTF lawyer lady were you thinking!!!

Christ Almighty. Hope the police are tracking down those who posted death threats as well.

I would guess that those death threats were not meant to be taken literally, as nobody’s stupid enough to advertise this. but that doesn’t make them any less outrageous…and forgive me for not feeling sorry for the possible harm to the rapist’s daughter’s career. The stupid bitch should have thought of that before she broke the law. I didn’t know that this was a crime, but she should have, with daddy dear’s track record.

Far-left [MSM] and Muslims want to ban Lauren Southern and Stephan Molyneau

“But far-right expert and pro vice chancellor at Massey University Paul Spoonley says some of what they say is definitely hate speech. They are part of a broad coalition who at their top end would be pro trump but at their hard end (which I regard both of these as being) are very (sort of) white supremacist or believe in the racial superiority of white people. They believe immigration undermines countries, they’re very anti-immigrant, anti-refugee and they’re anti-feminist! I’m very much in favour of free speech but how is free speech going to be advanced by views that are as and hateful as these two. It needs to have a significant threshold in order to deny them entry and we need to be very clear about why we are denying them entry with a public as well as apolitical discussion. ”

As English culture spread to Maori, sexual freedom was stamped out, Kerekere says. Women and children were seen as the chattel of men and subservient.

“Colonisation changed everything – our expression of sexuality, women having control of their own body, female leadership.

“We lost all of that, having fluidity, being polyamorous . . . our sexuality was stolen.”

Kerekere analysed 150 proverbs on gender, relationships and sex for her thesis. She drew and painted them to find patterns in their imagery. Fire and “talking in the night” were common metaphors for sex, she says.

More myth making on the way. Think about Margaret Mead and her overblown claims about sexuality in Samoa(?). I’m reminded of Johnathon Haidt’s Universities can’t serve truth and social justice at the same time?

Interesting to note how the Herald describes Lauren Southern.

But..But…what about this? Oh, they are snowflakes, so no problem that they’re hassling Lauren.

I think that’s been answered, Thumbs. In fact Goff mad more sense than some academic called Paul Spoonly(?) who tied himself in knots trying to explain what freedom of speech is.

      Tour’s off Corky.

“The promoter of a controversial Canadian pair accused of hate speech has cancelled their tour of New Zealand after Auckland Mayor Phil Goff denied them access to city venues.

Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux hold far-right views on topics ranging from feminism and immigration to Islam.”

How disappointing for the bigots who were looking forward to seeing this unlovely pair who would confirm the bigots’ own views.

As I am not interested in hearing such people spewing hate speech, I wouldn’t have wasted time and money going to hear them anyway, so don’t care that they are not coming here.

They’re out of sight and out of their minds. I’d rather think that they were insane than that they were serious in holding those views.

If you have to ask the question, you wouldn’t understand the answer.

Read it again if you didn’t understand it the first time. I can’t be bothered to translate it for you if you are too dim to know what is meant.

Personally I think they should be allowed to visit Kitty.

We don’t stop people who argue against climate change science from bring allowed to visit.

We shouldn’t stop people who argue against religions being allowed to visit & speak here either.

The 3 Abrahamic ones are all full of myths, contradictions & obvious nonsense & I think it’s a shame none of them get publicly debated as often as possible.

Heard the promoter on ZB. He claimed the amenities group didn’t voice any concerns to him. That Phil Geoff left it to the last moment to cancel on them.

There was nothing on TV news, so this cancellation may have garnered more publicity than the actual speech should it had gone ahead.

I see the Muslims had a petition going around. No petition to get rid of the Jew hating Imam though.
