Things seem to have gone downhill a little since George Washington and his ax.

The speech Pauline Hanson would have been proud of but was, perhaps, too afraid to deliver?

Anning’s in full-blown ‘Sociophobia’ and Miscegenaphobia* (Fear of Racial Mixing) combined with Metathesiophobia (Fear of Change) mode … a man clinging to the life-belt of White Superiority Racism as the ‘Titanic’ ship of colonialist, monocultural delusion submerges in the distance …

… and he’s thinking, “I wonder if those Rainbow people in that lifeboat will let me on board?”

Kinda sad really … and kinda funny too … “The Gramscyites” …. Seriously?

Regrettably Corky he’s not even a man IN SEARCH of common sense, let alone “with it” … He should spend some time in the outback with some Aboriginal people …

I’ve heard they’re especially well treated in the vicinity of Alice Springs …

No ones denying atrocities aborigines suffered at the hands of ” Whitey.”
But maybe you should ask the ”Black fella” ( what they call themselves) if they want Muslims in Australia. I know Black fellas don’t like Brown fellas from Aotearoa in their country.

“This is a credit to Bezos’s ingenuity and his business acumen. Amazon is a marvel that has changed everything from how we read, to how we shop, to how we structure our neighborhoods, to how our postal system works.

But his fortune is also a policy failure, an indictment of a tax and transfer system and a business and regulatory environment designed to supercharging the earnings of and encouraging wealth accumulation among the few.

Bezos did not just make his $150 billion. In some ways, we gave it to him, perhaps to the detriment of all of us.”

Of course ‘we’ gave it to him. That is the reward for the money he has given to all of his customers.

There is an interesting discussion on the radio this morning about unaffordable housing and what can be done. The presenter started by discussing the NZ ban on foreigners buying homes calling it a move by a populist Government. So far most who have called in are saying the UK should do the same.

I wonder how Jacinda would feel about the UK media referring to her Government as a populist Government considering all of the negative connotations of that term.
