Undaunted and unfazed when taken right out of her comfort zone. Here she is as a last minute standin for the big man and his signature aria…

    Bloody, bloody cancer.

Why is curing this vile disease not among the top priorities of the world ? Never mind poncing around in space, put the money to better use on Earth. Once Earth’s all right, then faff around space and Mars.

These are some of the medical benefits for everyone thst have come from the space program.

It is in our nature to want to know & explore the universe around us. Most often it seems to have been a man thing, but there are now many women interested in space & the universe too. May we never lose the thirst to know more about everything.

These are not the object of the exercise. I hate it that people are dying horribly while billions are spent on space travel that could wait.

I hear you kitty.. but 76 was a reasonable life (same as my Mum RIP)
I feel more for the young ones who get cancer..

I have spent a few hours enjoying many of Aretha’s greatest, (on youtube) that touched many of our hearts

I heard that her online record stats are going through the roof 🙂 🙂 🙂

She is gone… but definitely NOT forgotten

I feel for everyone who has it, it’s a hideous disease. Money that could go to finding a cure goes on things that could wait.

Even having a scare is terrifying; the phonecall that says that it’s all right is unforgettable…

It’s a cruel disease. It pretends to be a false alarm or to have gone, then comes back. SURPRISE !!!

I googled Steely Dan’s Nineteen….as have ??????? other people, Hey, Nineteen, Aretha Franklin….she don’t remember Queen of Soul…
