can’t see much good about it.The propaganda the MSM spreads for the Tories is more the problem.
Lucky we have a Govt in NZ that doesn’t blindly follow them..kick russians out …indeed.

    Evening Missy.

Still dark outside, but quite mild for August today, & the Dawn Chorus is just starting up outside.

Well, to be fair, it was only one middle-aged lass who assured the videographer: “He’s won the Nobel Peace Prize, the man is all aboot peace. He won the Nobel Peace Prize didn’t he – last year?” Even her friend who she was looking to desperately for support looked a bit dubious about that one.

And she sounds a bit Scottish, & look at her hair. Enuf said.

      Morning Sir G,

It was a little wet and cold today, but the sun is out now and it is warming up. No chorus here dawn or otherwise.

Well, true, and to be fair that clip shows the most mild of the cult. But for over two years the Corbyn supporters have been on every possible medium explaining away everything negative as lies and a smear campaign, they have claimed any photos proving the negative stories were photo shopped, and they have labelled the MSM as fake news, they get together and chant and sing, and blindly believe every bit of spin from the Labour leader’s office – even when it contradicts itself, as it has this week. It is truly been a fascinating (and slightly scary) experience watching them over the last couple of years. The Corbyn supporters have much in common with the Trump supporters in their blind faith in their leader. And of course there is referring to him as JC, as if he is the messiah come to earth to save them all. The funniest ones to listen to are the ultra Remainers who somehow believe that Corbyn will save the country from Brexit – despite having been a lifelong eurosceptic.

“We are the messengers. The media won’t do it for us. Let’s not delude ourselves that our socialist values will ever get a fair hearing in the press, dominated by multi-millionaire owners based in tax havens”

So, today was yet again that annual weird day when the nation’s media spends 12 hours plus on school exam results, and the future choices of the country’s 18 year olds – it was A Levels results day.

Despite this being my third year of this I still find it odd that the nation’s media go so crazy over high school exam results. There are countless stories in the newspapers, radio stations talk to students to find out how they did and what their next steps are, TV Breakfast shows go live to schools and homes to speak to students and even watch some open their results (a bit awkward when some don’t do as well as expected, or are with their friends who do so much better).

I don’t quite understand how the system all works, and quite frankly I can’t be bothered finding out, but regardless of how the exam system, the way the results are released, and how university placements are done, it is still an odd thing for the news cycle.

Though to be fair it beats cats up trees, and gave everyone a rest from Corbyn for a day….

President Trumpy knows how to apply the hurt. Someone must now explain to him the importance of ”face” in Asian cultures. He must leave out the the word ”I” and substitute ”we” in its place.

your idea of ‘buckles’ doesn’t fit any dictionary definition.
