An American exodus of kids from state schools to home schooling because of state educations liberal agendas. More Kiwi parents are thinking along the same lines. For example there is much debate about teaching religious studies in state schools, yet it’s quite permissible to have gay activists come to schools and tell kids it’s alright to be gay; that you may be gay, and how to use condoms. Let’s not forget secret abortions for your daughter should she get knocked up. The long ramifications completely ignored, leaving the parents to cope with any psychological damage.

Gay activists in schools ? Where ? When ? Who ?

My young rellies. The Rainbow Coalition, I think. There was publicity about this issue a few years back. I still have a box of condoms the kids collected like stamps at each talk given by these people.

Gay support agencies are hardly the same as gay activists.

The idea of bixes of condoms being dished out is very bizarre indeed and most unlikely to have happened.

Are you calling me a liar? What would you know? Have you had children at school during the last ten years?

”Gay support agencies are hardly the same as gay activists.”

Operative word support….not preaching to what could be confused ”straight” children at school trying to learn ABC.

Yes, I am calling you a liar, because you are one.Look at the lies you have told about me, and they are not the only lies you have told.

Gays preaching to 5 year olds* ? Highly (un)likely, what sort of school would allow it ?

You told us that you have been enrolling children at one school for 25 years ! How many do you have ?

I know enough teachers to know what drivel the idea of small children being preached to and given condoms that they can’t possibly use is.

              * the only ones likely to be still learning ABC

              Do. You are welcome to.

You said the Rainbow Coalition; I didn’t have to google that, it’s common knowledge. It’s been around for many years.

Needless to say that everything else you said was rubbish.

No, not quite. Two things to counter your bluster. I said.

” The Rainbow Coalition, I think.”

”That’s the best I can remember. I will see if I can contact
the kids. Although I doubt they may remember because the class was none to impressed with being told it was alright to be gay.”

I contacted the kids who said it was probably Rainbow Youth.

              So get it Right.

”…and that Rainbow Youth do nothing like what you say that they do.”

Well, here’s your chance to change from being a troll to a researcher. Ring them up and prove me wrong. Simple stuff. You will be able to big note to your hearts content.

I don’t need chat up lines. Ladies are mesmerised by my unconventional personality. They say ” Wow, You are different. Gezza, you should know that as a fellow astral traveler. As to the condoms. I blow them up with a can of compressed air. I paint different avatars on each…then pop them with a needle will thinking very bad things. Plays havoc with my concentration. Are acid attacks in Britain being under reported? And why is attacking someone with acid now considered an option? It’s definitely not the British way. So, what has changed?

    • Kitty Catkin

       /  August 19, 2018

      Acid attacks are age-old.

They were not uncommon even in Victorian England

      • Kitty Catkin

         /  August 19, 2018

And, of course, before. Vitriol was easy to obtain and carry around from the early c.19 on. It was used commercially and it didn’t take long before people began using it as a weapon. There are many real and fictional accounts of acid attacks as they are now called, in the Victorian era and since. Gang members used them. Graham Greene writes about acid in Brighton Rock (1930s) and so does Agatha Christie.I can’t remember if Conan Doyle did, but George Gissing did (see The Nether World)

The majority of recent ones in the UK were done by white people.

      • Corky

         /  August 19, 2018

Yes, in Victorian England. Not since as far as I can find. Most modern attacks are associated with immigrants. It’s gaining popularity with gangs. I would like to see the ethnic makeup of those gangs.

        This from Wiki:

”The UK has one of highest rates of acid attacks in the world, according to the police. An average of two attacks a day are recorded by forces across the country. 2017 was the worst year for acid attacks in London according to London Metropolitan Police showed a sharp rise in attacks, with 465 recorded in 2017, up from 395 the previous year and 255 in 2015. Mark van Dongen was the victim of an attack during the early hours of 23 September 2015.
In 2016, the Metropolitan Police in London recorded 454 attacks involving corrosive fluids in the city, with 261 in the previous year, indicating a rise of 36%. A rise of 30% was also recorded in the UK as a whole. Between 2005/6 and 2011/12 the number of assaults involving acid throwing and other corrosive substances tripled in England, official records show. NHS hospital figures record 144 assaults in 2011/12 involving corrosive substances, which can include petrol, bleach and kerosene. Six years earlier, 56 such episodes were noted. One British expert says she believes many of the cases involving acid are linked to communities of immigrants from Asia, with women attacked by their husbands or punished for refusing forced marriages. Muhammed Nawshad Kamal, 32, was left blind after an acid attack in Walthamstow by a moped thief on 4 November 2017.”

Also see the correlation between high Muslim populations and acid attacks disclosed by research in the clip above.

The idiots are inheriting the earth
http://observer.com/2018/08/pentagon-most-americans-are-too-fat-stupid-to-enlist-in-the-military/ with the take home paragraph:
“Then there’s the painful fact that the average IQ in America and across the West is clearly dropping. In the first half of the last century, average IQs rose in the developed world, what social scientists term the Flynn effect, but over the last few decades that trend has visibly reversed. What is causing this IQ drop is debatable—Negative lifestyle factors? Dysgenic reproduction as satirized in Idiocracy? Demographic changes?—but its reality is no longer. If you’re imagining that the population around you is getting dumber, you’re right.”

When one looks at our current crop of MPs, the prediction is verified.

    • Griff.

       /  August 19, 2018

This from someone who has trouble with basic math.
Probably the biggest decline in IQ is among right wingers who believe the steady diet of low IQ nonsense they are fed .
We see the result in the decline of support for the republican party among all branches of academia .

      • chrism56

         /  August 19, 2018

As usual griff your fingers are faster than your brain. Go and read the embedded links which go right back to a peer reviewed research. However, I also know you don’t do that because it defeats your own prejudices. So you resort to your teenage girl behaviour.

        • Griff.

           /  August 19, 2018

The linked pentagon report says nothing about IQ just education.
The forces are having trouble attracting educated recruits.
Not surprising as who with a good education would want to expose themselves to the perils of war?
Going into the forces has always been seen as a place for those who can not succeed in other ways.

The IQ paper is not available just the abstract .
There has been research that proposes that within family’s IQ declines as more sibling are born
Probably more to do with less indervidual attention from the parents than an actual decline in society’s IQ over time.

Its a story that on examination is more of an opinion piece than something grounded on good research.

          As to the girl thing.
          Whatever math boy..

             /  August 19, 2018

It is available when you have the right memberships, and the articles fairly reflect the body of work.
The US militay use a modified IQ test (ASVAB) to determine admission. As is wriiten,
No one can “fail” the ASVAB. However, some people do score so low that the recruiter is forced to suggest that they receive additional schooling before they reapply for military service. If that person declines, then they are deemed incapable of joining the US armed forces. It can be inferred from their failure of the ASVAB that they either have significant learning disabilities, or their intelligence is below the minimum required for military service.

For someone with self diagnosed Aspergers, you make some pretty stupid statements.

        • chrism56

           /  August 19, 2018

What is in the ASVAB test? The ASVAB tests are designed to measure aptitudes in four domains: Verbal, Math, Science and Technical, and Spatial.
          http://official-asvab.com/docs/asvab_fact_sheet.pdf
What is in most IQ tests Verbal, Math, Science and Technical, and Spatial skills.
What is the minimum score allowed to join the military? 31
          https://militaryhandbooks.com/what-scores-do-you-need-to-pass-the-asvab-test/
Some of the services want high school graduates or GED holders as a secondary requirement.
How about engaging your brain before your keyboard or is that beyond your skill set?.

I remembered Paul Holmes’ crass insult to Kofi Annan when he called him a cheeky darkie (twice) but had forgotten how he went on at length about how this is what happens when darkies are given some power and that WE were NOT going to be told what to do by a Ghanaian No wonder Mitsubishi withdrew their sponsorship !

    • Gezza

       /  August 19, 2018

I never liked Holmes but that one did make me smile. He was obviously making the remark in an ironical fashion implying that that was how some critic would see him – but he got done over for it real good. Other times he deserved a good kicking.

      • Kitty Catkin

         /  August 19, 2018

I didn’t think that he was saying it in an ironic way; he seemed to be doing a racist rant and the apology was a half-arsed one. If he meant it as a joke, the laugh was on him. He must have known that cheeky darky was a gross insult and that it was totally out of place where Kofi Annan was concerned.
