The Values Party is back minus Garth Morgan. So,in reality the Values Party isn’t back and will be going nowhere.

Crikey, you may be right. I just got the tail end. Unless National give them a seat I can’t see a name making much difference.

I got the name of the party wrong. It wasn’t the Values Party. Don’t know how I misheard that.

Of course National will give them a seat; the whole “we’re back” thing has been engineered by National’s strategists and backers to “find a mate” in order to be in the running for Government. National knows 45% gives them…second place.

The Herald’s looking for an angle and characterising the Australian rugby team’s accommodation and training venue as “Michael Cheika’s bizarre Waiheke Island scheme.”

“Cheika has never been to Waiheke Island, extremely limited in terms of large hotels capable of hosting a squad of more than 30 players and support staff of about 15. It also has only two rugby fields and a limited selection of gyms. The Wallabies normally base themselves in downtown Auckland.”

Obviously downtown Auckland has lots of large hotels capable of taking big groups of people, and numerous rugby fields and a big selection of gyms are readily accessible. For all the fine downtown experience and access to fine facilities the Wallabies haven’t beaten the All Blacks there since 1986. (I was there, sob, sob) so what’s the big deal about staying off shore?

    Good on ya Aussies!

At the Green Party conference on Sunday, Shaw said it was “very on-brand” for Genter to cycle to hospital for the birth. “We’re just delighted that a second ministerial baby is on the way, very proud to be part of a party that supports that, and very proud to live in a country where two members of the country’s executive are able to have children as part of their job,” he said.

As it appears to now be a Greens job requirement, when are Marama, Golriz, Jan, Eugenie, and Chloe expected to deliver a new baby by?

      James Shaw: “On-brand”
      Gezza: “Green’s job requirement”
And in answer to your question, whenever they damn-well feel like it and not at the behest of some aged misanthrope with too much time on his hands; apologies for any hurt felt at the slight, but I’m just wanting to share; nobody likes to be given an unfair label, do they.

Far cough, I haven’t got near enuf time on my hands. I have wildlife rangering duties household chores a luvly bossy-as ma who needs very careful handling and have had bird fight referring duties already today. Also I’m not a misanthrope. But I actually wonder if you might be?

apologies for any hurt felt at the slight, but I’m just wanting to share; nobody likes to be given an unfair label, do they.

No need for apologies. No brain, no pain here. But it’s James who’s giving me my lines, & I have a 2nd hand used sense of humour I found under a rock in the stream that you can have for nothing if it would be any use.

Send it through, Gezza; mine’s never been much either and I could use any fragments you might have no use for.

North Welly’s just got hit with a heck of a downpour so we might be copping some thunderstorms too. Too dark to catch the stream on camera probably but the water will be roaring through by now.
