/ 20th August 2018You can’t prosecute politicians for making bad law. Stupid comment from Edgeler.
Pink David
/ 20th August 2018“Still almost no prosecutions over matters leading to the GFC.”
Largely because investing stupidly isn’t an actual crime.
Blazer
/ 20th August 2018heres a few that are crimes …
is it alright to launder drug money,
is it alright to rig interest rates,
is it alright to charge dead people for advice,
is it alright to commit fraud on customers…
add liars loans, teaser loans, robo signing and just maybe an impartial observer would say these are a pre meditated criminal, chicanery inflicted on society by rapacious, parasitic ,protected private bankers.

/ 20th August 2018@Al. Disgraceful behaviour. Assholes like these probably felt licensed to abuse victims by Trump’s oft-stated remarks that they’re not allowed to do their job.
Alan Wilkinson
/ 20th August 2018Maybe, but US airport customs/immigration have had a bad name for a long time.
I really hate the arbitrary powers nations have signed over to their border controllers. It started as a desire for socialists to protect their privileges, escalated with the disastrous War on Drugs and now peaked with fear of terrorism. Truly fear is the root of all of these and the oppression legitimised in consequence.

Fuxake. It’s only 1.10 pm & you’re ascending into the ridiculous already?
Alan Wilkinson
/ 20th August 2018No it isn’t. Why do you think we don’t have open immigration as the US used to have?

How meat is recycled and sold to the poor
Ever wonder what happens to restaurant leftovers? In the Philippine capital, Manila, meat is recycled from landfill tips, washed and re-cooked. It’s called “pagpag” and it’s eaten by the poorest people who can’t afford to buy fresh meat.

/ 20th August 2018The Genoa Bridge collapse has highlighted major similar problems with over 800 bridges in France as well as Italy.
Poor quality concrete (due to corrruption in the industry) is apparently widespread. Footage shows how much seepage there is through the concrete with consequent rusting of the structural reinforcing within it.
