  1. Not often I’m staggered by a politician but this man leaves me gobsmacked. What he lacks in intellect and humility he makes up for with a briefcase of well worn cliches and Labour 101 sound bites.

Mana in Mahi. 4,000 jobs? How? A campaign?

Will he be accountable? Let’s not get silly.

Empty rhetoric and incompetence. Yet another Minister way out of his depth.

Willie Jackson has some not bad ideas, huge fan of charter schools and scathing of the teachers union protecting deadset useless teachers. I dont think he will make much difference inside the Labour Party which in some areas is a shame as he has loads of experience at the pointy end.
Hi natural instinct to immediately defend anyone Maori sometimes lets him down, with a powerful voice he would have an impact calling out practices he would condemn to the rooftops if it was from a Pakeha.
He would probably be great fun to have a few beers with.

I think you’ll find looking after a large group of children is punishing enough to weed out “dead set useless teachers”. Most only stay in the profession eight years.

Willie is a clown. He still thinks he’s on radio, filling in every second with continual jabbering.

      Universeeality indeed. 🙄

Plenty of scope yet for them to settle down into some kind of shape to get re-elected. Simon’s not looking like a better alternative PM. Reminds me a lot of Andrew Little, in terms of his impact on the public.

Simon should be gone, now. I am also wondering about Crushers health. Here face looked swollen when she appeared on Duncan Garners show. It could just be good Tory living because she has nothing better to do…except hopefully plotting Simon’s demise.

I’m not really seeing an obviously electable PM replacement among the Nats crew at the moment. How many among them would you say right now look like they might have what it takes to pull it off with the public?

The texting indiscretion was a total beat up over nothing. No one would be bothered by that. Tobacco lobbyist a big mark against him though, politically. Rich territory for exploiting.
