  1. It is 9-11 (11 September) in the US.

      I can understand the distaste.

No, I don’t remember the photograph. All I remember is Muslim pricks killed 3000 innocent people. They also paved the way for intelligence agencies to gain all the power they had only previously dreamt of.

Have you done a count of how many innocent people America has killed?

           /  September 12, 2018

No, and I’m not interested. America is on our side?

3,000 pales into insignifcance. The US is directly and indirectly responsible for the loss of hundreds of thousands of innocent lives.

America is on the side of America. America refuses to be accountable to anyone. America insists its interests subordinate everybody else’s. America is probably actually the most dangerous country in the world because of this.

Well, in these troubled times I would rather suck up to America in the hope they will defend us. Your views on America, I believe, would change if Russia or China were the worlds sheriff. We may have a chance to find that out with China’s increasing global influence.

Russia and China are not interested in being the world’s overlords. They are simply reacting to the US trying to be theirs. That is why the US is so dangerous. It will ultimately probably not be able to retain its current economic and military superiority because absolute power corrupts absolutely and it is already corrupt.

Are you saying Russia does not have ongoing expansionist plans? And that China isn’t pushing its influence further and further?
You’re in la la land on that one Gezza.

the U.S is not the worlds ‘Sherrif’ or Policeman’…the U.S looks after its own strategic interests…thats it.

You’re in la la land if you think the US isn’t constantly claiming the right to pursue its own strategic interests & dominate others’ at the expense of every other country, whenever it chooses to do so, wherever it chooses to do so – and never more so than under the current boasting, bombastic egotisitcal nepotistic jingoistic bone-spurred, immoral, amoral, unethical, bullying rich child its got as its president at the moment, HFD.

That of itself guarantees other large countries will have to counter it and eventually will. They are already strategically allying against it. When there is a balance of power things may settle down. But America will still claim the right to be the world’s policeman and its regimes and people will continue to ignore its own blatant double-standards, treatment of non-Americans as “collateral whatever – not as important as us” and hypocritical war-making, war-supporting, arms-dealing, behaviour.

              As will folk like you.

”The U.S is not the worlds ‘Sherrif’ or Policeman’…the U.S looks after its own strategic interests…that’s it.”

That’s only partially true. Who do people in trouble ( including Muslims) call out to for help in times of crisis? Russia, China or Australia? No, America. And what currency is accepted worldwide? Yes, US dollars.

              Who helps the West?

America is the Great Satan for Muslims and Socialists…except when the crap hits the fan.

The US-installed corrupt regimes in Iraq and Afghanistan called out to America. They are in serious trouble.

Abadi right at this moment is under serious threat of getting dumped in Iraq – his government is barely functioning following contested, bent elections, so many of its people are so sick of the corruption. It has ongoing problems with sectarian strife, ISIS attacks, and just recently riots in Basra and now a rocket attack on a Kurdish institution by Iranian-allied Shiia fighers. Thanks America.

ISIS and the Taliban control more of Afghanistan than Kabul’s corrupt regime does. Thanks America.

Assad called out to Russia. Assad is on the brink of regaining complete control of his country.

I never denied the USA has empire ambitions, albeit more in installing favoured leaders of countries. I absolutely agree that they do, and also agree they are terrible at it.

I was reacting to the absurd comment you made that:

“Russia and China are not interested in being the world’s overlords. They are simply reacting to the US trying to be theirs.”

The USSR and China (and prior to them, Japan, Portugal, France, Spain and England) have always wanted to expand their influence and territories. They are only held back in doing so by the United States and Europe. The USA is held back only by incompetence. It is not something unique to America, and much of what the US does is to hold back others more than to further its own interests – Vietnam and Afghanistan being two examples.

@Corky..what examples can you give of this…’ Who do people in trouble ( including Muslims) call out to for help in times of crisis? Russia, China or Australia? No, America. ‘?

Who the hell would want to help Palestine? Certainly not Egypt. Maybe Western socialists.

The US is by a huge margin the biggest financial aid provider to Palestinians:

“Since 1994, Washington has provided the Palestinians with more than $5.2 billion through USAID. This money is used for developing and sustaining the Palestinian Authority, including support for debt relief (such as helping to pay the medical debts of Palestinians in Israeli or other foreign hospitals), sanitation, economic development in the public and private sectors, infrastructure development, education, governance, health and essential humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip.”

Lets have the list of Middle Eastern donors and aid providers?

Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, (all housing Palestinians expelled from their land by the Zionist invaders & occupiers who stole it – and their descendants whom it refuses to allow to return to Palestine). Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syrian Arab Republi, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, & mostly the United States which it done has until Netanyahu got control of the White House thru Ivanka since it has consistently been Zionist expansionism’s biggest enabler.

Either the media have completely failed to get their narrative accepted, or Trump’s powerful oratory skills via twitter have convinced the nation!

“Gallup Editor-in-Chief Frank Newport said on Tuesday that Americans have come to reject the idea that President Trump did anything criminal with regards to Russian interference in the 2016 election.

“A lot of Americans have kind of dismissed the idea that he [Trump] colluded to the extent that he did something illegal,” Newport told Hill.TV’s Joe Concha on “What America’s Thinking.”

“A lot more Americans would say he did something wrong, but it wasn’t illegal,” he continued.”

I wonder if Meuller is one of those convinced he did nothing wrong?

Of course. That would explain trumpy’s plummeting support… not.

Newport has overlooked the third leg of the trifecta: “even more Americans would say he’s done many things wrong and most of them illegal”

Notwithstanding Newport’s claims, trump has already been named as an unindicted co-conspirator in federal crimes, for which his indicted co-conspirator has plead guilty and faces five years in a federal pen.

Which is not to say Russia. But that shoe hasn’t fallen yet.

Not forgetting they eventually got Capone on tax evasion 😉
