If that text message just published by Whale Oil is a National Party MP suggesting JLR top himself then the party is doomed

    Disgraceful.

    • Except that is not what that text suggests. Slater has put his own interpretation on it, and you should know by now how badly Slater’s interpretations can be wrong.

I don’t want any of what he is publishing repeated here. There could be privacy and breach of trust issues.

The smear attack post on Fisher indicates the MP in Question may have fallen for & responded in kind to an invidious set-up text from one of the usual suspects. Can’t see a post with the text you’re referring to. Hate crawling thru that dump. Where should I be looking?

        • I had a quick look. It seems to juxtapose an old text that has already in part been made public with a more recent response. Without full details I think scepticism is in order, and suspicions.

Well, naturally Mr G. 😀 Goes without saying. We all know that. But I’m curious to see what the rotten beggar is saying and how he’s spinning it. Is it in comments in the Fisher post or somewhere.

            • Slater says “Are you saying that in politics it’s OK to destroy people’s lives and families… That it is fair?”

He should look back on his WO history, and some of his legal history, and ask himself that. he could ask Len Brown that. And the many others he and his associates have attacked.

Don’t think so. That’s not sooking. That’s just pathetically trying for sympathy from the half-witted and support from the usual nasties.

Slater brings up the term “scorned woman” to describe the Nat MP. All we’ve seen from him for years is a scorned man after being turned away from his one true love National when they decided they no longer want to have a relationship with him!

Cammy get over it they’ve given Daddy an Honour he didn’t deserve and now they’re “just not that into you”.

The strange thing is the WO story backs up the Fisher story, but tries to put a different spin on it. I can’t see anything in there that is going to achieve anything like what Cam thinks it will.
He also tries to paint the “15 women” call as a threat, when the call seems to quite clearly be showing Bridges protecting the women involved and warning rather than threatening that publicity would bring more people out of the woodwork.

Gezza – the story is this one:

I read through the crap Slater wrote and there is nothing new there except to spin it that the female MP was seemingly to blame for (what Slater seems to suggest) JLR’s failed suicide attempt and/or suicidal thoughts due to JLR re-rereading an old nasty text she sent back in August. It also shows how JLR throughout this sorry saga frequently played the ‘mental health card’ in order to not be ‘put under pressure’ – strangely enough exactly what the leaker said that JLR still denies being. As Slater & JLR see it there is still some unknown National party cabinet member still running around with exactly the same mental issues & dislike of Simon Bridges as JLR.

The most interesting part of the post was the comments section – still some deluded believers on there. I see that ‘Rantykiwi’ won first prize for best impression of an ostrich: “I sincerely hope that as this whole sordid debacle plays out and the big players have to run with stories based in reality that they acknowledge Whaleoil as the ground breaker and primary source for their future articles.”.

Well, well, well….. In Media World, this just in…

But reached by phone independently from Avenatti on Oct. 3, the woman said she only “skimmed” the declaration. After reviewing the statement, she wrote in a text on Oct. 4 to NBC News: “It is incorrect that I saw Brett spike the punch. I didn’t see anyone spike the punch…I was very clear with Michael Avenatti from day one.”…

In a subsequent text on Oct. 5, she wrote, “I will definitely talk to you again and no longer Avenatti. I do not like that he twisted my words.”

NBC news knew the “gang rape” story about Kavanuagh was bullshit for days before the vote – and never said a word to the public. There is no other plausible reason – not “fact checking”, not “further investigation”: they knew the story was false. I don’t think “editorial judgement” works here as an excuse: NBC was directly supporting the Democrat campaign, and then people complain about Trump’s attacks on the MSM and “fake news”.

    Pricks.
