/ October 29, 2018It is standard for the Royal Family to speak some of the language of whatever country they are in. All the Royals have usually begun their speeches in Maori when in NZ. Not something to gush over really.

/ October 29, 2018did they speak Tongan in the Friendly Isles?
High Flying Duck

/ October 29, 2018English in Fiji…amazing transformation from actress to ‘expert’ opinion on …everything by dint of marrying carrot top.
Corky
/ October 29, 2018The monarchy could have had your head for that a while back, Blazer.
I would have come along with my knitting for the spectacle.
Ray
/ October 29, 2018Of course she speaks well, she was an actress in her former life, unlike most of the royals she had a real job and consequently can “do” speeches easily unlike them whose efforts from the Queen down are uniformly awful.
Missy
/ October 29, 2018Not sure she would have one person writing her speeches unless it is her private secretary who does that – or rather Prince Harry’s PS. I would have thought for this one it was either the NZ Government, or more likely someone at the British High Commission who wrote it, but working off a series of briefing notes from Kensington Palace, with the Palace and the Duchess finalising the speech and approving it.

/ October 29, 2018NEWS or just ‘stuff’ for the gossip columns ?
I hear it has cost over $1mil for this tour & Meghan has spent, about that much on her ‘designer outfits’ ?!
“God save the Queen !” ???
High Flying Duck
/ October 29, 2018The designer stuff is often returned after wearing.
NZ designers have had huge sales boosts from Meghan wearing their stuff, so there is benefit to NZ.Karen Walker the latest I believe.

Latest news reports say Trump rang the shooter and said: ‘kill those Jews..these are bad people.’

/ October 29, 2018More FAKE NEWS from Corky..
as I said recently; some believe Adolph did not call for the ‘Final Solution’ BUT all HIS ‘Hate speech’ inspired others to action it ‘on his behalf’ ?
MrT is sounding a bit similar !

/ October 29, 2018‘Some believe Adolph did not call for the ‘Final Solution’ ”
But by default Hitler was responsible for the final solution.
Equating Trump with Hitler means you don’t get it. That is further confirmed by your inability to understand individual responsibility and free choice.
I’m beginning to see a divide here…. an insight into why liberals always stuff things up.
