My name is hope, i have 6 children and all of them have been removed from me at birth,by Oranga tamarki

She will be a long term drug addict probably with intellectual issues and a history of violent relationships .
Totally unable to support or care for the children she pops out.
Also unable to use contraception I will bet those six kids have six different fathers.
CYF’s has to many baby’s and not enough care givers they dont want to remove them and only do so if they have no other alternative. Removing baby’ creates ongoing issues for years no social workers will do it unless they are certain it is the only alternative.
      How do I know
Two branches of my extended family are focused on caring for removed baby’s for CYF’s.

Further to my post this morning (British time), not much further information has been released on the helicopter crash at the stadium after the Leicester City premier league game last night.

It is believed there were no survivors, part of the delay in the authorities confirming anything could be due to delays in contacting Next of Kin, especially if most of those on board were foreign nationals.

It is believed that the owner’s son is coming over from Thailand to meet with Leicester City officials.

The nice thing about this sad occasion is that there are thousands of them and he has the name of a foreigner. It says Leicester cares not whether you’re Anglo saxon or Indian or whatever. You’re British at a time like this.

To be fair… they would be idiots if they didn’t like him. He basically kept them and their football club alive.

Poor bugger. You climb to the top. Enjoy the spoils of great wealth. Then the spoils of great wealth turn on you and you’re back to having nothing again.

That’s the benefit of simple plleasures Corks. A stream. A walk with your dogs. An abiding love of nature. Enjoyment of people, and just talking to and observing them because you like them. Things that bring one joy. And these things are free.

It’s not the same across Europe. Not quite yet to the same degree, I think. Not this hatred of of one half of the population for the other half of the population where there is only really one of two choices of political party – both of whose representatives are long bought by rapacious special interest groupslike arms dealers and effectively corrupt.

I think it’s a matter of opinion depending on how you want to look at this situation. According to Mikey antisemitism is up 57% in America.

We already have a rough political divide in Europe. The only thing missing is not quite the numbers of far Righters and Muslims.

However, I think confining this problem just to the political sphere doesn’t do it justice.

Yes I’m aware of those things but I think your overwhelming bias towards Trumpy and Israel, and against Muslims (we agree Islam does not belong in the West and will be trouble), & your tendency to have very narrow perspectives, makes you completely miss the main feature – which in the US, in my opinion anyway – IS actually extreme loathing of the other party and their supporters.

I think it might be because I watch Aljaz tv and sometimes Fox News and CNN (small doses; I have no particular favourite and their extreme prejudices and endless ranting against the other side just quickly become irritating, though they each get some things right). Anyway, I choose my own viewpoints on what I see on them, but Alajz’s broadcasts are frequent, in detail and their worldwide coverage is more frequent and extensive than here.

”Yes I’m aware of those things but I think your overwhelming bias towards Trumpy and Israel. ”

Correct. I weigh the positives and negatives. And what’s been done; what hasn’t and what their worth to the world and humanity is.

The above two choices were a no brainer for me. They created and strengthened my bias.

”Your tendency to have very narrow perspectives, makes you completely miss the main feature – which in the US, in my opinion anyway – IS actually extreme loathing of the other part.”

Not a narrow perspective..but a perspective I’ve narrowed. There’s a subtle difference. I don’t disagree America is basically divided into two camps..in some ways similar to the Israel/ Palestinian situation. One of the funniest things I read was a Democrat supporter who was applying for a very important job. The only thing she admitted was making her nervous was that she couldn’t in good faith not tell the interviewer she was a Democrat.

”I think it might be because I watch Aljaz tv and sometimes Fox News and CNN.”

In most cases that’s true.. and that’s where my lack of being a political animal is shown up. The only interest I have in politics is how it will affect me personally. Secondary is testing out my perceptions, extrapolations and people skills.

The actual game of politics doesn’t interest me.

The reason I like watching Aljaz tv Corks is because news and commentary goes all day and it’s actually not “political”. It’s pretty well straight down the line balanced in its world coverage and commentary. It doesn’t criticise Islam, but it doesn’t push it either. I find it less biased on the whole than NZ media, and it gives me a much better idea of what’s going on the world, Tvnz is sometimes days late reporting on stuff featured live or on the day on Aljz. Our tv news is full of parochial crap and infotainment/celebrity trivia.

I haven’t read the article, Maureen, in case it gets me started 😉

But from the link title, I suppose, why not loudly complain to try and stop criticism of Catholicism and Holy Mother Church because these small number of perverted abusers are not true Christians?

It’s worked for Islam and Muslims.

Further news on the staggering political hatred in the USA….
    – Kellen Michael Sorber has been charged with setting fire to the Albany County Republican headquarters in September.

    – On October 11, the windows of the Metropolitan Republican Club in New York City were smashed and a message was left stating, “Our attack is merely a beginning.”

    – The Nebraska Republican Party’s headquarters had their windows smashed and “Abolish ICE” was spray painted on the wall. The windows at House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s Bakersfield office were also broken.

Then there are the physical attacks:
    – Farzad Fazeli attacked San Francisco Bay Area Republican Rudy Peters, charging at Peters with a switchblade while yelling, “Fuck Trump! Fuck Trump!”

    – Wilfred Michael Stark, a progressive activist who works for David Brock’s American Bridge 21st Century, had his most recent arrest from assaulting Kristin Davison (campaign manager for Adam Laxalt’s) by “trapping” her in a doorway and twisting her arm behind her back and squeezing it so hard she screamed in pain. #DemocratMenAreMeToo.

    – And the ricin attacks of course. Two Cruz staffers hospitalised.

There are many more such stories if one cares to look, though most are small, one-time pieces in the US media: little more than a passing mention for the same sources that screamed about pipe bombs on their front pages and lead broadcast items. And naturally that means that there is even less coverage of these stories in the NZ MSM.

Until a Democrat is attacked or threatened.

Rules for me but not for thee
