Like I said, it’s only a matter of time before Labour shoot themselves in the foot.

And given the new twist in the Karel Sroubek case, that’s what’s happened.

Just when Lefties have been having the time of their lives, this happens.

Let’s chuck in Aussies economy at the moment verses the predicted outcome for our economy, and things are back to dull grey for Labour.

I’d rather have her as PM of New Zealand. People like you need to be dealt with rather harshly, Lurchy. Crusher Collins is just the person to show you your place in the scheme of things.

She would make sure your super wasn’t indexed to the cost of living. Your gold pass and energy payments would be curtailed. She would teach you to be thankful for your meagre existence and state help that you receive.

”Will Kitty be harshly treated and Gezza is he in danger?’

Only if they vote the wrong way; say the wrong things.

A glimpse of the future that is here, now, Lurchy. Time to shudder!

Corky as critic of other people’s grammar; spare me.

He certainly seems to have no idea that other people’s bank accounts are none of his damned business as he tries futilely to provoke you into telling what’s in yours. He did something similar to me, with the same result. Does he really imagine that we would tell him?

I somehow doubt that he has enough invested to pay for a married couple’s pension.

Tell RED that he’s a bad, mean dog for not coming to the Waikato so that I can see him in reality.

Yeah … I kind of think she would’ve guessed it would set off some haters. Given her style. Anyway, Judes is open to being called things like bully and suchlike because she’s so good at playing the snarky schoolgirl & now has form for provocative fake news tweets. I imagine it doesn’t bother her but if they roll Bridges and pick her they’ll dive in the polls because no one outside National (and probably a few inside it) can stand her.

    “Lover???
Wellington shag? comfort woman, call me old fashioned, such betrayal and promiscurity suggests a rather unfortunate flaw in a standard of personal values and probity from those concerned yet they still consider they are qualified to make laws that will rule how the common people shall live, all the while on an income most of the peasants will only ever dream of

Cripes these children are about to make decisions as to how my existence on this planet might end. Decisions that might involve my nearest and dearest, a bloody good mate who is currently managing a slowly growing list of age related ailments as my Dr, then there will be another bunch of vultures who might wish to harvest some of my diminishing list of functioning organs in the face of an acknowleged shortage, all beyond my personal wishes.
Sheesh they cant even exercise a bit of restraint and adherence to fidelity resulting from a serious commitment to the co parent of their children back in suburbsville.

I am well aware of the pressures and strains of working away from home base but in my simple world such betrayal in the intimacy stakes might include a minor ring of honesty as should exist jn the real world by simply ending what is possibly a relationship to all intents and purposes already ended. An existing relationship only requiring the final step of admission and confronting that sad fact.

Running an alleged THREE year shacking up in the work place city while many near and dear are working to maintain home base has a selfishness and indulgence about it, totally dependent on secrecy to avoid an explosive ending.
I understand the scarlet woman here had taken steps to end her existing cohabitation arrangements with the father of their children and I wonder if her rather OTT response as things unravelled was fueled by an alleged discovery the phillandering male intended failing to recipricate.

A person too close for comfort to my family circle ran with two women for a quarter of a century, One couldnt boil an egg and the other was allegedly somewhat deficient in bed. That Menage a trois didnt have the distance factor at play they all lived in one county.
The only factor in mitigation came in that none of those three was in any way making laws they were going to enforce on me. Merely embarrassment particularly on one occasion when one of the two women attempted to involve me by way of mediating a solution. In short my response was advice to involve a bloody lawyer and leave me out.

So on balance ‘no’, enough damage has occurred and non combatant children are collateral damage suffering potential risks they do not deserve.

That said all parties need to look hard and long if they, with their clear power driven egoes are indeed the people to effectively rule us.

Of course as one well informed member of the media is quoted as saying if eveyone who has problems around fidelity in their personal lives left the capital it would be a very depopulated place indeed.

How many innocent female MPs will incur suspicion because most ofthe proletariat will not be sufficiently politically tragic enabling deduction, does that make a case for the previous cone of silence to resume.
My old fashioned psyche says no but the pragmatic says yes, and does that amount to a cop out”

Comfort women is a euphemism for sex slave, not a willing partner in an affair.

Please don’t trivialise the suffering of these girls and women who were kept prisoner to satisfy the lust of Japanese soldiers by comparing rhem to someone who has willing sex with someone now.

The Social Justice worldview is irrational and counterproductive to progress. It is not Marxism and we do not need to claim it is to oppose it. We can simply defend the fruits of modernity and with it the search for objective knowledge, the prioritisation of reason, and the liberal principle of equal rights, freedoms and opportunities regardless of race, gender and sexuality. That is what we should do.

Man, 1ewes at 6 (I watched it on the plus one channel) slammed Lees-Galloway for his decision not to deport Czech Republic criminal and thug Karel Sroubek. Seems National has information that while he claimed he could be killed if he returned to Czech Republic – he’s actually been back there!

Lees-Galloway and Ardern were both shown backpedalling like crazy and blaming their officials mercilessly in the time-honoured fashion of Ministers and PMs. Bridges was given a good sound-byte saying a simple Google check would’ve have shown this information or something.

He’s was on top, making the pair of them look hopelessly naive, gullible & icompetent and he was looking & sounding good, on TV, for a change !

        Iain Les-Galloway is a man under pressure and like many of the current govt ministers (or ones already demoted) out of his depth;

Stuff: “The minister tried to avoid reporters on the way into House on Wednesday by hiding behind a pillar for several minutes before telling them he was late to Question Time and would not talk to them till after.”

Inexperience can be the cause of being “out of one’s depth” & going through the fire a time or two has been a salutary lesson to many inexperienced Ministers that if they just accept of do what their officials tell them they can get into strife – becos officials can be frackin outright incompetent and lazy like you wouldn’t believe – and experienced Ministers – often those who’ve had their butt chewed when officials did a sub-par job in the research & advice Department learn to ask questions and make enquiries.

Just mulling over whether I’d appoint anybody with a hyphenated name to a Cabinet Post. Thinking about it I reckon there’s possibly always a risk they’re likely be up themselves and liable to crashing out in a burst of hubris created by their belief that they’re a cut above the rest. Just something to think about at the moment. Couldn’t even call it a hypothesis.
