Some dimwitted bird was fluttering at all the windows in turn, trying to see if it could find a way through. It could have come through the door if it had wanted to, as it was open. The idiotic birdbrain was there for at least five minutes.

A pretty ginger cat has just walked in, looked around the chair nearest the door and gone out again.

This is Liberty Hall, all species welcome.

Cheekybird the sparrow hen has been very active hopping in onto the windowsill, and hopping out again getting my attention & requesting that I put some wheat grains on the window ledge for her to zoom along gobbling up. She chirps loudly for attention & is quite a character. However the sparrow flocks are getting rather large now – word has got about, obviously ! 😐

I fear that Bluey despatched Barney Straling, only Betty has visited & she looks a bit lonely.

Bluey and Sweety are being irresponsible and hopping the fence seeking food, leaving Alex running up and down the fenceline on the other side whingeing loudly and drawing attention to himself. They don’t seem to get it that they need to be over there with him, protecting him. He is still a sooky baby who screams on seeing me, and panics them in turn. Trying to feed him over the fence while they’re on my side is a very screechy, panicking-pook business.

I’m sure the neighbours aren’t impressed with the racket. If I leave the gate open Sarah might come through and get into the house. She scurried past the open gate today when I left it open for Alex to wander through and join his parents.
