      Start talking to young women Helen, telling them to stop breeding with scroats who’re violent, & telling them instead to partner up with decent men who don’t abuse women, like your Peter & who’ll hang around to teach boys how to be good men. No good blaming men any more. Time to go to one of the main sources of the problem. Mums bringing up boys with no dads or bad dads.

        decent men like the un named person who has been charged with the Brit tourist murder? You will be surprised about his ‘well off background’ when its finally known

          Plenty of rich men who’re scrotes Duker. They even elected one POTUS. His ex reported him to the police for assaulting her but she got a handsome payout & probably has a toyboy now. Other women don’t get that luxury. If you want a bloke to father your kids, don’t turn it up so easily. Get engaged. Check the bugger out. If you’ve got a decent dad, bring him home. Your old man will likely suss it out if there’s something dodgy about the blighter.

      Some of the comments there are plain nuts;

      “Saying ‘I’m not the problem’ is actually a large part of the problem. Great that you’re not an abuser, but can you honestly say no man you’ve ever met is/could be? We need men to hold EVERY man that crosses their path accountable please.Not just go “wasn’t me”. Only way to fix it”

      I’m supposed to hold every man who ‘could’ be violent that I’ve ever met to ‘account’? Just so women can carry on making bad choices, and not be accountable for their own actions? Jesus,how arrogant can these women be.

        I am disgusted that the vultures have swooped on Grace Millane and are using her for their own purposes, like vilifying all men because of the minority. She went to Tinder, and went to an apartment with a stranger. As an adult she would have known the risks of doing this. She was not an abuse victim. She was unlucky enough to not get away with taking the chance of hooking up with a stranger. Nobody deserves to be killed because of this, but with Tinder, you don’t know what the person’s really like. No woman says that when the man’s asleep, she will steal his wallet, phone etc and take off. No man says that he’s a pervert or a thug. But there are those who do and are.

        Of course any human being, masculine, feminine or neuter COULD be an abuser. What are we supposed to do about it? The nice young mother down the road could be abusing her children for all I know, but I doubt it, unless they are all very good actors.

        I was in an abusive & violent relationship, but I don’t blame all men for it !!!

          I agree, it’s absurd to assume that women can’t be held responsible for their actions, and very insulting.

    I have just seen the inane badly-made ad that cost the guts of $1,000,000 and which is urging us all to be tidy Kiwis. Sign the pledge as all the people on the ad have…I won’t, because I don’t drop litter anyway. Are we to assume that the people on the ad do and will now be changing their ways because they are taking the pledge ? What an admission.
