Nga Puhi like the proposed new Capital Gains Tax as long as they don’t have to pay it on the profits they could make when they “sell” properties given as Treaty settlements!
Everybody wants to go to heaven but no one wants to die Syndrome.

  2. Jacinda Ardern on Morning report when asked about her association with Richie Hardcore.

No doubt she hopes it’s the end of the story, she will hope it will fade away over the break.

The odds are probably quite good…

If my name was Hardcore, I’d change it to something like Ardmore.

If your name was Hardcore I shudder to think of the jokes & pics one regular poster would be posting to you. No names though.

My name wouldn’t be Hardcore, even if the most wonderful man in the world asked me to marry him, I wouldn’t if it meant being called that. 😀 Not even an Oxford don in English or the editor of the OED.

  3. Williams has been ok over the years, but I wasn’t a fan of his news reading, especially recently where he often put some really weird emphasis on words and inflexions. Actually it annoyed me and I avoided having him on.

Fortunately for me nobody is sacred. I’ll have anyone on. Currently I quite like having Griff on.

Ma told me last night she heard from someone who knows someone who’s in the know that he was pushed out. When I pressed her for details of the source she wasn’t sure who it was.

Aw gee! Not another Tom says he got it from Bluey who got it from his contact on the inside?

No this was Nell, who heard from Shirley, who was told by one of her daughters whose name Nell never said. I’ve left instructions with ma that the next time one of her friends is passing on any goss from someone who knows someone connected to the situation they are to get names, dates and exact relationships, plus a mobile number for any subsequent follow-up queries.

  4. TV1 news; The Reeferendum will be at the 2020 election & it will be BINDING !
    “good news everyone..” 🙂

I actually hoped they would run it in 2019, to get the result prior to election & not to become ‘the main event’ during it :/

This is a GENIUS move from the left.
It will ensure many thousands of non voters put their bongs down, get off the couch and give three ticks for left wing parties.
One tick for Mary Jane and a red green tick in electorate and list.
Well done Labour, smartest sneaky political move since Clark was fiddling elections.

It’ll be a chizz if it goes the other way and Mary Jane is voted out; the problem with binding referendums is that they ARE binding.

Hardcore isn’t that hardcore. If he were he would have a private campaign, a mission if you will, to comment on contentious issues. He would particularly focus on communications to Oppositon MPs.

If he does it numerorous times he could then be said to be in regular communication with them. That’s bad. Bad because he knows Karel Sroubek. They don’t have to respond, not responding means nothing. Ask Jacinda
    Arden.

He should start with Simon Bridges of course but ‘liking’ Mark Mitchell could be worth a laugh or two.
