UK school children to be taught boys can have periods too
Primary school children in the United Kingdom will be taught that all genders can have periods under new sex education guidelines that aim to tackle the stigma around menstruation.

Brighton & Hove City Council has released a report advising teachers that “menstruation must be inclusive of all genders”, as “trans boys and men and non-binary people may have periods”.

It recommends teachers use language that reflects “all genders, cultures, faiths and sexual orientations” and calls for transgender students to be given extra support from a school nurse if needed.

I don’t be-lieve it. (I liked the actor who used to say that and who was always being asked to say it by the public only doing so if they forked out a tenner, which he gave to the SPCA; his name escapes me)

Just tell them that anyone with ovaries etc can and leave it at that.

Indoctrinate children into an ideological view point by lying to them. Well done.

they were referring to trans people who could be having periods and may identify as different to their biological sex.
yes they are completely pc over it , but they werent arguing against a biological impossibility

After this advice the teachers will be as confused as the pupils and if they don’t watch out the class trouble-makers will have a whole new set of opportunities.

That’ll be nice for the other commuters.

A university friend has never drunk too much since the time when he was poured onto the train and couldn’t stop himself chundering, to the disgust of the other passengers. Once was enough.

Bomber has absolutely knocked it out of the park with his summary of 2018. Well worth the trip to TDB to read in full:

    “What a fucking horrible year!

Betrayal, deceit, abuse, bullying – and that was all just inside the National Party front bench!

2018 has been the year of the Woke Left & Alt Right, fringes of identity politics fuckwittery that have managed to infect the political debate and turn it in on itself in a never ending cycle of social media outrage olympics and the narcism of tiny difference.

At a time when rents soar, child poverty continues to impact hundreds of thousands, suicide rates sky rocket and the planet melts before our eyes, the debate has become so hijacked it’s created a unique censorship where by only the howling echo chambers of the professionally offended have currency.

Sartre said hell is other people, I think hell is other people’s social media feeds. Millennial micro-aggression policing has replaced reason and trigger free safe spaces with emotional support peacocks have pecked out the eyes of logic.

As an economic global collapse fuelled by Trump’s trade war, Chinese shadow banking bubbles, Brexit, Italian political chicken with Eurocrats and emerging economy currency meltdown loomed, we argued about crypto-fascists speaking, Don Fucking Brash, Police marching in pride parades, Māori Santas, Baby Neve flights, Clare Curran’s coffee dates and complaining about fat shaming.

You know, the really important shit.

On the positive, Jacinda had some great photos and managed to genuinely inject kindness into the political agenda and soared on the international stage. On the negative, the media became so flaccid and terrified of social media backlash they self censored anything that might be considered vaguely interesting and the anti-semitic transphobic heteronormative patriarchy became the new red under the bed.

It was the worst of times and it was the most fucking tedious of times and I ended up despising the woke left as much as I despise the alt-Right.”

Christ that’s a good read. One needs a damn stiff whiskey after that. Then a few more until blessed relief comes from passing out quietly in an armchair.

I just wish he hadn’t pulled his punches….
Don’t agree with some of it – although I do agree with a disturbingly large portion of it.
But a cracking read. I can’t wait to see what vitriol he has in store in part deux!

Highlights by contrast how banal and brainless the MSM has become.

High-profile escort Lisa Lewis is threatening a lawsuit against Hamilton-based company Game Kings for using her name in “party game” Kiwis Against Morality.

Coined from US game Cards Against Humanity, the New Zealand version was played using a similar concept where players complete fill-in-the-blank statements using words or phrases deemed offensive on playing cards.

The card Lewis featured in read: “as exhausted as Lisa Lewis’ after a week at Fieldays…” which she deems incorrect and defaming of character. “I don’t even work at Fieldays, I usually try to get out of Hamilton at the time of year,” she told the Herald.

Lewis – who first became famous after streaking at an All Blacks rugby test and selling the bikini she’d worn on Trade Me – said it felt wrong her name had been used without her consent.

“I contacted the company and got a one-line response so I have emailed my lawyer and will be taking legal action,” she said.

Eliot Jessep, owner of Game Kings, who make “Kiwis Against Morality”, says: “At Game Kings we’re big fans of Lisa Lewis. Stoked she noticed our game”. “We would have loved to have worked with Lisa more intimately to produce her card, but we’re open to collaborations in the future,” he added.

He told the Herald the company intends to rebut Lewis’ claim of defamation of character.

Hope it all works out. Must be tuff for Lisa being in the public eye like this.

Must be even tuffer for her not to be in the public eye. I would have to agree that it’s a bit rude to use someone’s name like that. I bet that she doesn’t leave Hamilton then, though.

She didn’t streak, she had a bikini on. Her then boyfriend had paid for the boobs she had then. By the look of it, she’s had bigger ones made (she was tiresomely in the Waikato Times for far too long)

For the ?th time, they bought a tune from Beatbox through Apra/Amicos, supposedly a reliable company, they didn’t just decide to use an Eminem piece of music. They’re not that naive. The fault was Beatbox’s.

To say that they ripped it off is nonsense and a lie.

You haven’t done your research. National party AND 6 other parties were sued, including Beatbox etc. So in fact the judgement is against all of them., With joint and several liability if the others walk away national is last one standing.. who pays what share of the money is up to them. Maybe national will be sueing Beatbox for mis representing the music as legit?

However your other point about rippedit off. The court has said otherwise
