Hogging the camera and attention-seeking as well as gate-crashing. I blame the parents.

That IS one of the parents, unfortunately. That’s Sweety. At night sometimes she just won’t go home!

Charming. What chance will the children have with an example like that ?

When your eel looks too short it might be Seamus. I know mine was

Not enough music here lately. I’ll start things off with something light and fluffy…

That’s not bad. I like the guitar work and the harmonies on the chorus.

Heard this earlier; a bit OTT but quite personally meaningful hehe…

How long have you been battling it?

Capitulation was ultimately more healthful than warfare. Of course you understand that I’m referring to ‘Lithium as metaphor’, as is the song…

Nope. I can only make tentative assumptions from the cryptic nature of your posts, express them, and see what I get back.

    Oh, it’s HOT.

Been mostly grey and a cool Norwester today. Spotted the new pooklet a couple of times but even though I was standing very still and looking on unobtrusively it spotted me and ran into cover. They seem instinctively aware of any eyes on them & react immediately. I suppose they have to be because not being able to fly until 12-15 weeks makes them vulnerable in a way that other birds who can fly are not.

I’ve seen Bluey, Sweety, and Alex all feeding it but they try and hide it from me with little warning signals the sees it duck into cover. With a bit of luck in a few days it will venture out onto the pook promenade below me & get used to me. They let Pickles and Jojo do that when they were only a couple of weeks old. But Alex was kept over on the far bank for about 6 weeks.
