FIRST TIME COMMENTERS: Due to abuse by a few, first comments under any ID will park in moderation until released (as soon as possible but it can sometimes take a while).

Sometimes comments will go into moderation or spam automatically due to mistyped ID, too many links (>4), or trigger text or other at risk criteria. If they pass muster they will be released as soon as possible (it can sometimes take hours).

    https://i.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/110762348/blenheim-man-says-life-destroyed-after-false-rape-allegation

A court case should be taken re the girls I know who falsely accused a man (leading to a pastor slandering me re unrelated matters, ruining my life in the process.)

Girls need to know where they stand in life. This bad behaviour causes disruption to community.

The trouble in the case I accidentally became involved with is that the girls think too highly of themselves – they behave as though they can do anything they like because they have the ‘God experience’. They are more experienced in deceit than anything else. PCANZ leaders are just the same, only more sophisticated at it. I have always known them to be a strange mixture of pseudo humility and pride. I always presumed my love would be enough to keep my relationship with them healthy. How wrong I was.

I hope the man in this article can find resilience in himself. In a roundabout kind of way I know how he feels. Thankfully his case was relatively straight forward and the court system vindicated him. The case which wreaked my life is complex, and police were useless, but it will also be a great deterrent to other wannabe victims if/when the courts hear it.

Ironically, is Destiny’s Man Up programme in danger of harming real victims when men use it as just another ‘God experience’?

    https://i.stuff.co.nz/national/110565269/victim-blaming-man-up-course-facilitator-stood-down

I wonder if Mr Tamati will not face media because he’s too embarrassed about his various unfulfilled ‘prophesies’.

No number of group think programmes, either church or secular or pagan, will reduce victim hood.

I tell people that there is only one Church because I care. Wherever an individual experiences ongoing un Christian like behaviour, they can be sure that the fellowship they belong to is not a part of Church.

I came to realise that church ‘membership’ is a stumbling block to community health. Let the clubs and institutions hold ‘memberships’. Individuals who are members of Church know they are members, even if they get kicked out of church! Something is lost the moment ‘membership’ is formalised and in today’s social climate church ‘membership’ seems dangerous. At best, church ‘membership’ is for the weak in faith. At worst, it is for the purpose of keeping victims trapped.

I think that this is the Reformation needed at this time in history. Christians (however much individuals consider themselves as Christians) need to be in fellowship with one another. The status quo churches are failing and most Christians now avoid them. There must be another way. It’s largely all about individuality.

Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body.
    —Ephesians 4:25

I would like to see those who make false accusations automatically liable for the victim’s legal costs. And their other costs, like loss of income, of course.

Why does Brian Tamaki wear a military style of jacket with five stars on it ? He always seems to be wearing it now…has he appointed himself a General as well as a bishop ?

Don’t you have any compassionate thought toward that fellow who was falsely accused of rape by his girlfriend? Perhaps you have some advice.

What about the Man Up programme. Do you think that’s a truly good work in community? Do you have an alternative suggestion as to how men can keep themselves violence free, without succumbing to the cult tendencies of Destiny?

What have I got to do with it , Noel?

Ignore him, Corks. Probably simple misunderstanding. You got anything else for us today? Apart from Christianity, I meant. Any other group you want to slag off & generalise about?

              Gezza;

”Or any scientific secrets no one else knows about?”

No, I got what I wanted yesterday.

”Any footage of your cloudbuster at work?”`

A cloudbuster is a passive device. There’s nothing to see working. Ironic that your stream at the back is a perfect setup for a genuine CB to work.
I’m not talking about the New Agey things Griff believes are cloudbusters

” Any other group you want to slag off & generalise about?”

I don’t generalise when the facts state otherwise. I do enjoy slagging off…

YourNZ would go way down in my estimation Noel, if a separate forum is desired for religion. That’s just plain silly, backward thinking, negative, and most likely bordering on hate. Since when did hate and negativity solve anything? And why did you jump into this thread, along with Blazer and Gezza, just to mock? Is that what trolls do? (Along with ‘feminism’, ‘victim hood’, ‘bullying’ ….’trolling’ is another word I am sick of.)

You three are clearly part of the social problems I expose. Why else would you have nothing but negativity and derision to offer?

Gezza, did you use blasphemy (using the Lord’s name in vain) with such frequency before I came onto YourNZ? It’s simple. If you want to invoke God, just talk to Him like He’s your father. Talk to thin air while you pretend to talk to God. Then try doing so in the name of Jesus Christ.

You 3 clearly disrupted this thread. I think it’s because you are searching. Try being positive. At least I’m not calling you trolls. But you are a problem to Kiwi generations behind you.

            Troll!

          • Gezza

             /  February 23, 2019

As a matter of fact Mother I do talk to the creator sometimes. Sometimes it seems to work, other times not. I don’t bother to analyse whether it works or not because folk throughout history in many cultures have done the same thing, appealing to or attempting to propitiate deities with sacrifices (hence where the Christ sacrifice idea came from – it was a means of connecting with other pagan religions that believed sacrifices at the time – including the Jews and The Romans, and virtually all the religions around that region at the time or earlier) but as humans our confirmation bias is so strong believers are inclined to attribute the apparent successes to their entreaties to their deity and to ignore or make silly excuses for all the failures.

Like “Who can know the mind of God?”, or God has his reasons, it is his will and it must be for our good or our lesson?” (= Didn’t bliimmin work).

Others just use variations of self-hypnosis or beliefs in the power of positive thinking. It’s a mystery whether and how it works. For some reason it usually enables me to find lost objects, but it may just be triggering some subconscious memory of where I placed it but forgot – or some impulse to look somewhere I hadn’t thought of before.

I used this appeal to the universal power technique two days ago to find a lost cooler bag that I keep in my utility cupboard. It didn’t work. But last night I suddenly thought, I wonder if it might have fallen down behind those boxes – and there it was. So … who knows. It’s harmless enuf and even a bit of fun to try it out. I have more success with this technique than I ever did asking Jesus.

I am not blaspheming. I am not taking Jesus’s name in vain. I am simply using it. If YOU took it in vain, as a believer, YOU would be blaspheming.

I could only skim this Gezza. Too waffly for me and my thoughts overran my ability to take it in – “How come Gezza doesn’t get mocked when he admits to praying to what others think are sky fairies”?

Anyway, thank you for sharing that. Could you please tell me straight – Do you outright reject that Jesus Christ is the way to God? Do you outright reject that Jesus Christ is God?

Your answers will help me with my own decisions in commenting.

Otherwise, you see (I hope you will see) I will most likely continue to communicate with you as you are so obviously a person who likes to win/have the last say – compared with myself who has no worries about losing and only carries on with you because I do win, for Jesus. The fact that you always have the last say only illustrates your losing streaks in these ‘arguments.’ Much like those individuals who openly mock.

You are taking it for granted that these are facts; do you believe everything you see online ? Or read in the paper ? Most of us are not that gullible.

As Alexander Pope said in The Dunciad. ‘A little learning is a dang’rous thing/Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring/There shallow draughts intoxicate the brain/And drinking deeply sobers us again.’

It’s a huge mistake to assume that a fact has been checked, especially on a site like Whale Oil. It’s also one not to look up words like ‘cant’, whose meanings you don’t know.
