I think that many people who were accused of paedophilia might react that way from sheer nervousness; there is so much at stake.

Bubbles was only trained to give massages, Blazer. The body language is indicative of high stress levels, but does not necessarily point to guilt. In fact the most telling part isn’t the eye closing or hands over his face… it’s the talk about Jesus. That would certainly have Joe Navarro taking a second look.

‘When a million mourners flocked to Michael Jackson’s funeral, one character was conspicuous by his absence. Bubbles, his pet chimpanzee, was relaxing in a retirement home for former showbiz apes. Jackson had ensured the chimp, the symbol of his lost youth, was settled and well cared for. But he couldn’t save himself.

Meanwhile in Trudeau’s Canada people are fight back as Muslims demand being able to pray in schools. A brave person in this clip rips up the Koran.

This is a hard case for an atheist liberal.😲

Needless to say that the Muslims are NOT ‘demanding‘ this. Anyone who reads the story will see what a gross distortion this analysis is. It’s arrant nonsense. A lie, in other words.

I see nothing brave about a bigot tearing up a holy book.

Corky seems not to have read the story properly himself, or he would not have provided the link that disproves his words and shows that it’s about Islamophobic bigots demanding that something that’s been going on for a long time be stopped,

Tommy is driven man. He’s doing what every Limey should be doing..standing up for their country.

There’s no doubt many Muslim inmates will be wanting the honour of killing Tommy.

Let’s hope he’s protected at all times by the ‘white brotherhood.’ Especially those hard bastards toughened by living in those horrid housing estates.

Judge Judy at Oxford. Not a great speaker. But the insights are interesting.

” There’s so little you can do in the family court. The dysfunction is so ingrained.”

She could be talking about New Zealand. Therefore the Righty way of doing things is definitely the best for tackling family dysfunction in my opinion.

For example Michael Laws voluntary sterilisation for $10.000 idea. Or forcing women on the DPB to have no more children.

She got her TV show as JJ because she was know as a judge who refused to call a spade a fork.

God that was a painful video to watch. I got about 2/3rds of the way through it and flagged it away because she seemed such a conservative old biddy, who was just waffling on with rich conservative drivel that was so US-only in its application I wondered what the poms were making of it. he should talk.
Laws had children to multiple partners in his 20’s and walked away
      from them and their mothers.
      He doesn’t talk about that.

Forced sterilisation has been done before by authoritarian, totalitarian regimes.

Would Corky approve of this for his ‘niece’ who supposedly has children and is on the DPB?
(assuming that this niece exists, of course, which is dubious)

Wrong Finbaar Rusty. Laws admitted on the radio he was a worthless father as a young man.
He even apologised to a past wife, Karen, for all the bs she had to put up with.

What changed? Age and his daughter Lucy. He said in his opinion many young men should not be fathers until they mature some.

The problem with this philosophy of his is the same problem Ozzy Osbourne had telling his kids don’t do drugs. He had a good time & made feckin millions while doing them. So they’d prefer to implement his recommended policy at the same age he did & get in the other fun experiences first as well.

So for 15 years he made his name by criticising absent fathers but never mentioned himself till he was rich and famous. Apologising decades later when you have made your millions is farcical. Like Hitler said sorry to the 6 mill Jews he killed before he died. Doesn’t make it right. Take of your blinkers corkscrew.

Right wing propaganda columnist always pays well.
Appeared on Survivor and Come dancing. Speaking engagements at right wing jolly ups pay well.
              PM perks post Parliament.
Over 30 years adds it all adds up.
Mind you these days if you sell a decent 4 bedder in a desirable Auckland suburb your looking at 7 figures.
Millionaire is nothing special these days

I watched Question Time a couple of days ago. She looks terrible. Haggard face, flat hair, deep furrows on her forehead.

That long haired, laid-back sometimes, weekend, low-end clothes and casual look is what is pulling in all the votes from young women who identify her as one of them and are a key to her high polling with the up to 30 year old females, I would bet.

It’s not a mistake, it’s a strategic image positioning in a big target market.

Possibly, but it doesn’t look good for a PM to turn up in Parliament looking like that. Can’t she afford a hairbrush and shampoo ? Unwashed, unbrushed hair and unpressed clothes look sloppy and a PM should not look sloppy. Imagine a male PM turning up unshaven, dirty unbrushed hair and unironed shirt and suit that look as if he’s slept in them.

I wonder how the antivaxxers feel about the tiny child who had measles at 4 months and was, of course, seriously ill, and the mother whose baby has a heart condition and needs a vaccination (the parents have been advised to vaccinate her even though she’s under the age, as measles are likely to kill her) But there just aren’t enough and the centre can’t be reached because there are so many phonecalls that it’s all but impossible to get through.

If these children and others die because antivaxxers have convinced other parents that measles is harmless and vaccines unnatural and unnecessary, the antis will have their blood on their hands. There’s an epidemic thanks to these idiots.

She is by no means beloved of all NZers, Lurch. I hear some very unimpressed comments on her credibility and general ability. She scrubs up well, but the unbrushed, unwashed hair and mumsy clothes don’t say Prime Minister. There are many who think that she’s lightweight, all talk and not much do, and that she just isn’t up to the job. And anyone who thinks that the baby was a wonderful unplanned surprise must believe in fairies at the bottom of the garden.

I know a lot more who think Ardern’s lightweight and fluffy, but many of them, all women – will still vote for her – because they like her.

We see it most nights on TV or in the movies, people behind vehicles firing guns at police. There’ve been a couple of incidents in New Zealand in recent weeks with that sort of scenario being played out. Those shooting wildly would’ve seen it a million times before. Normal behaviour. Looks like it’s our new normal.
