Some interesting thoughts on identity politics and commerce:

  2. I read in local media; Local Canna-activists, have organised ‘Harvest Festival/Cannabis Cup’ for this 420 weekend.. near Dunedin, BUT DCC have issued them with a ‘Trespass notice’ for reportedly intending to run it ‘in a public park’. Police were also involved…

The organisers have relocated it to a paddock near Gore, BUT some folks (inc. businesses) are annoyed; having travelled from as far, as the top of north Island !

It seems that ‘some in authority & concerned locals’, still do not want such events ‘in their midst’ ? :/ 😦
