I was watching the news headlines, on ‘Democracy Now !’ (Indep USA news) there was a ‘suggestion’ that the recent bombings in Sri Lanka (Christian Churches), could be a response, to the March 15 ChCh mosque attacks ? :/

    ..oh dear..

I’m sure there’s a job for me writing for Stuff.

    Headline: “House prices plummet.”

Under that: “House prices fall by as much as 30%, with previously sought-after areas  in Auckland slumping.”

Click on story; Headline: “Central Auckland house prices plummet, Real Estate Institute data shows.”

The last part of article has “FASTEST FALLS” with 10 suburbs with prices down from 31.2 per cent to 17 per cent, then “BIGGEST INCREASES” with 10 suburbs with prices up from 30 per cent to 10.4 per cent.

The data shows sales activity around the city in the six months to the end of March, compared to the same time the year before.

I’d be disappointed if I couldn’t build ‘crisis, catastrophic, doldrums, disaster, shock, slide, gloomy,’ and ‘doom’ into such a story. 500 (odd) words and the main ones missing! 🙃

  4. I read that the Fourth Med-Cannabis Co. (in NZ) has received a license to start cultivating/producing products: SETEK Therapeutics (Taupo)

Interestingly; the chair of the Advisory group is non other than: ex-Assoc. Health Minister Dunne, who in the last Govt. declared natural cannabis/herb to not meet the ‘low-risk category’, but instead regulated Synthetics ! 😦

    …follow the money…. ??

….or admit that he was in error rather than pigheadedly refusing to see another side to an issue ?

Ive heard him say, more recently (paraphrased) that he was just ‘the mouthpiece’ for Natl’s. agenda: the real driving force, behind maintaining prohibition of all uses of cannabis ?! :/

BUT.. that doesn’t really excuse him, from what happened since: many deaths from the ‘Synthetic SHITE’, that we were lead to believe, was safer/’lower risk’ than the natural herb

The crap that’s around now is quite different to the over the counter ‘natural highs’ and the fault lies directly with the fools who use it and the unscrupulous dealers.
