“Dear Tubs @grantrobertson1 From the safety of a studio you call me an idiot. Step into the light and let’s have this conversation man to man. I want to know why you are prostrating New Zealand to Islam Warning Tubs, my testicles are massive.”

    • Robertson may be right, she sounds like an attention seeking idiot making ridiculous claims trying to inflame things. Best ignored as much as possible.

Yep. That’s how you deal with a publicity-seeking troll.

“Ah, but if you just listen to the points that Katie Hopkins / Milo Yiannopoulos / Lauren Southern / Stefan Molyneux…etc., make you’ll see that…”.

Nope. Forfeited the courtesy and privilege of a platform and hearing long ago…

Nothing maddens such attention-seekers as being ignored or being laughed at.

She seems to be going doolally, unless she’s had a spontaneous sex-change.

Yep. Attention seeking is one thing. But trying to do it off the suffering of others is reprehensible. Don’t have a problem discussing issues such as militant Islam and migration policies. Indeed, in the right context they deserve discussion. But not any prompted by shameless self-promoters whose only motive is financial gain off that self-promotion.

Or even those who deliberately distort and lie about Muslims to make it seem that they are all terrorists at heart.

I could understand what was behind the IRA, but that didn’t mean that I thought that their terrorist actions were all right.
In a survey like one done with Muslims, I would have answered as many of them did. an answer twisted to mean that they approved of what was happening. Sigh.

A fireside chat with Mark Steyn. How this chap is still alive is a puzzle for the ages. Anyway, his topic is how modern society has been trained not to notice, even when problems, perpetrators and solutions are staring us in the face. And that process is called political correctness.

I recently did an experiment along these lines using my observations at the supermarket as examples of things people miss right under their noses. I repeated using observations around the parliamentary press gallery..eg the missing light above the podium etc.

My experiment garnered about 4 replies ( lol) with one commentator finding it fertile ground to
troll to her heart’s content. Translated into historical relevance it was the difference between Jews seeing the writing on the wall and leaving Europe before Hitler gained complete control, and those who didn’t, with many of those going to the gas chamber as a result.

Steyns talk starts @0.25 with a Nazi theme. ( A Spencer Tracy film observation from a viewer)

We face a similar situation at the moment with people not seeing, or wilfully ignoring, the writing on the wall regarding a number of issues.

The best he could hope for in those circumstances is extra time to update his Facebook page while they ran a state lottery to see who wins the first prize of beheading poor old Steynie.

There is an enormous difference between you perving at people in the supermarket and Jews seeing the writing on the wall. You seem to think that because other people don’t write about what they see in the supermarket that they don’t ‘observe’. They do, but don’t go around gawping, hanging around the meat department holding steak under the noses of those buying cheaper cuts or staring at people buying avocadoes. Most of us have more interesting things to do and talk about than gaping at avocado buyers to see if they buy ripe ones. Most people don’t look up the skirt of someone who bends down ! Still less write about it !

The comparison is stupid as well as offensive. You seem unaware that leaving mean forfeiting 90% of assets, which made it all but impossible to start elsewhere and that it was difficult to find places to take so many refugees. People left Germany to go to Holland and other places, but these were invaded as anyone who knows anything about the era will know. You make it sound as if it was easy to leave Europe. It wasn’t. It wasn’t easy to get a visa. The US didn’t open its doors to the Jews. Thomas Watson of IBM provided the technology to keep the Holocaust going efficiently. His punch cards meant that if particular types of slave labourers were wanted when the last lot had died, it was easy to find them.He was knighted by Hitler.

Don’t write about the Holocaust in these simplistic terms. It’s insulting and ignorant. Go and ‘observe’ (i.e. perv, gawp and stare in your case from the sound of it) in supermarkets as much as you like until they throw you out, but do not compare this bizarre aberration to the situation in Nazi Germany.

No answer to the truth, of course, or to the absurdity of your gaping like a goldfish in the supermarket being likened to those who were able to flee the Holocaust before borders were closed or before the Germans invaded other countries and trapped them. Try fleeing to Switzerland (supposedly neutral) when the borders were closed against you. Try going anywhere without a visa.

Last evening was gorgeous running Gemma to a sit down after a ball beside Russell’s wonderfully scenic GAS station. Today has been alternating between summer and winter.

        Winter ? what’s that ?

The die-hards who dress by the calendar are togged up in winter gear while the rest of are in summer clothes; it’s been in the 20s during the day.

This is the perfect weather; warm days, cool nights.

This outfit has $750,000 in donations. It is a charity so how would you see who it’s donors are. It secured more funding for RNZ?
