This post is open to anyone to comment on any topic that isn’t spam, illegal or offensive. All Your NZ posts are open but this one is for you to raise topics that interest you, or you think may interest others..

If providing opinions on or summaries of other information also provide a link to that information. Bloggers are welcome to summarise and link to their posts. Comments worth more exposure may be repeated as posts. Comments from other forums can be repeated here, cut and paste is fine.

Your NZ is a mostly political and social issues blog but not limited to that, and views from anywhere on the political spectrum are welcome. Some ground rules:

  • If possible support arguments, news, points or opinions with links to sources and facts.
  • Please don’t post anything illegal, potentially defamatory or abusive.

FIRST TIME COMMENTERS: Due to abuse by a few, first comments under any ID will park in moderation until released (as soon as possible but it can sometimes take a while).

Sometimes comments will go into moderation or spam automatically due to mistyped ID, too many links (>4), or trigger text or other at risk criteria. If they pass muster they will be released as soon as possible (it can sometimes take hours).

Another day and Peter Williams’magic” is bagging the police again in the name of”free speech” and his first knuckle dragging comment is from a righty bagging our PM, When this righty was on tv who would have thought he was a knuckle dragger,a scary righty with access to the media platform(magic) to espouse his rightwing views

I love it when the right turn on themselves, I feel this poster wishes he hadn’t posted it, think bum bitten,it comes back
    Big Bruv
Farrar has turned into a virtue signalling cheerleader for Horse Face, only somebody steeped in the insider political culture of Wellington could think that. It really is time that the Nat’s stopped taking Farrar seriously, he is centre left at best.

I admit I seldom look on that site much. When I used to check it out there was someone called Big Bruv. My conclusion was that if the big one of the family was like that I’d hate to see what the youngers were like.

For all Sean Plunkets ranting about free speech, i think he’s a closet white supremacist, there’s too much(i want free speech)for the knuckle dragging rightwingers.

I worry about him, Dave. You would think with this deadbeat government we have in power he would be happy. But misery is the default setting for a Lefty. That’s why they are never entrepreneurs…they just don’t have that ”can do” attitude.😒.✔

I love listening to Magic(Sean Plunkett) and heard some frail old fart called John who said” lets call all people from the left”communists” which is half of this country…the broadcasting standards authority must be working into the dark deciding to remove magics licence, soon i think.

Plunkett is one of our best broadcasters I will give you that, his callers less fantastic.

Same outcome here, someone needs to drag John Campbell by the goolies and get him to explain as he single handedly persuaded National to absurdly lower the limit with no proof it would help.

“Calls to lower the drink-drive limit in England and Wales have been rejected by ministers after figures showed road casualties in Scotland have risen since it introduced tougher restrictions.

The Scottish limit was reduced in December 2014 from 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood – the level in the rest of the UK – to 50mg.

But the latest figures from Transport Scotland show there were 580 drink-drive casualties, including 30 deaths, in 2016, compared with 460 – with 20 deaths – in 2014.”

Winston should have it reverted back to 80 and do his bit for the regions where taxis are ruinous and public transport is non existent.
