Unlikely, his ratings are pretty good against the socialists on TVNZ. Never watched it but I hear the sports guy is brilliant.

You mean he’s not a metro male, slurping a latte, sporting designer stubble to match the colour of his designer loafers and the wrist band of his FIB watch?

Yeah, but that’s Mikey’s trademark – the urbane, smug, well heeled upper middleclass cad. That lifestyle has a lot going for it, Blazer.

Geez, mate, you are having a slow day. One is the ‘real deal.’ The others are wannabe’s with a mortgage, jap import and a sheila they want rid of without having to pay out.

            Mike H ‘upper middle-class’ ? Don’t make me laugh. Middle-class, more like.

How vulgar to ‘slurp’ one’s coffee. There are few more revolting sounds than someone slurping a drink. There’s nothing sophisticated about noisy eating and drinking.

He’d like to be urbane, and he’s probably a cad and smug. Either Corky is being honest about his hero for once or he doesn’t know what smug and cad mean.

Designer loafers; how pretentious and meaningless as everything’s designed by someone. I’d hate to feel that I needed the whole world to know that my shoes were expensive.

I’d have thought that ‘designer stubble’ was a look that is very dated by now.

It was a trend in the 80s, so even more dated than I thought.

And Corky doesn’t seem to realise that having money doesn’t affect someone’s class. Put a piece of glass in an expensive gold ring and it will still be a piece of glass.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/christchurch-shooting/112756218/us-snubs-christchurch-call-tech-pledge-but-says-it-endorses-overall-goals

The US hasnt snubbed the Christchurch Call they have been very supportive of it, Cooke needs to understand if they sign there will be a tsunami of lawsuits costing taxpayers millions. The US has turned so litigious international treaties are just another avenue for their rapacious and generous donors in the legal profession. Regulations and hearings are being done at the moment so the White House cant really interfere with what Congress is doing.
In fairness very few countries have signed up but his anti Americanism gets the better of him, bit of racism.

      WHO SIGNED PLEDGE

The countries who signed the pledge and have a leader present at the meeting are France, New Zealand, Canada, Indonesia, Ireland, Jordan, Norway, Senegal, the UK, as well as the European Commission.

Countries who are not present but signing on are Australia, Germany, Japan, Italy, India, the Netherlands, Spain and Sweden.

Great isn’t it…America has a constitution that protects freedoms. And although governments have chipped away at the constitution, it’s still major brake on legislative action. In this case, its stopping pragmatic political action because it’s presently the ‘cool ‘thing to do.

Of course, we don’t have a constitution like Americas, so Jacindia can sign and promote things to her hearts content. Pragmatism and forgetting the sacrifice of our serviceman..here we come!

‘France, New Zealand, Canada, Indonesia, Ireland, Jordan, Norway, Senegal, the UK, as well as the European Commission’

And all have very different motives. Senegal is there to curry favour with France and extract better Aid, trade and immigration concessions. Indonesia wants censorship to protect themselves from domestic separatist terrorism of the sort supported by Swarbrick et al and seemingly ignored by arch hypocrite Ardern, Jordan’s King is there because he wants to censor criticism of himself and his family, Macron wants to block the yellow shirt movement etc. It’s tiring watching these towering liberal minds plot internet sovereignty, the only thing they have in common, following the trend set by that paradigm of Liberalism the PRC.

This is very annoying and typical of Victim Support, the same stupid rubbish after the earthquake happened in giving as many people as possible a smaller cut rather than properly compensating the real victims so it made no difference to anyone.
The money raised should have all gone to people shot and families who were left without their main income earner and I am sorry traumatic as no doubt it was just because you were there shouldnt entitle you to have money that was donated specifically for the victims.
I am out when it comes to donating now unless its directly.

So Duncan Garner why haven’t you asked Simon Bridges, why NATIONAL never bought roadside drug testing in, lots of crocodile tears, drug driving has been going on for years. UNDER NATIONAL, remember YOU Nick Smith did nothing as it would cost money…John Key and Bill English did nothing except run away as it was too tough

Probably because National didnt jump up and down about it and probably because its pointless asking him as its irrelevant and probably because he wasnt the party leader or PM.
Is the standard now that governments arnt to be held to account for their abject failure because the last lot didnt do it either.

This is the Paris based network that does all the work – The Internet and Jurisdiction Policy Network. Ardern is simply trying to raise her own profile atop their shoulders, with a UN job in sight. Their next event is in June in Germany. They have three contact groups in with a single New Zealander listed – Jordan Carter Chief Exec InternetNZ.

Their previous conference, last year in Canada, produced the Ottawa Roadmap. Trudeau, not Ardern, has been leading. But shhh don’t tell the NZ media.
