So we learn from the Sunday programme National implemented a supposed racist policy of limiting the number of refugees from Africa and the Middle East. Bureaucrats weren’t happy; warning National of its international obligations and perceptions of racism.

You will see the usual leftwing media ploys to sway public opinion.. including tackling Labour about continuing Nationals policy. No doubt Labour will fold and allow unfettered African and Middle Eastern refugee numbers to come to our shores. That will of course produce the problems they are having in Melbourne with African youths.

The programme also featured a heavily redacted government document citing ”security concerns” No doubt the document would have been an intelligence brief explaining to the then government the true state of affairs, as opposed to the fairytale bullshit of multiculturalism.

A couple of African youths were interviewed. Both were doing exceptionally well, but spoke of not being accepted and experiencing racism. No doubt that is true. New Zealanders have always believed their own bs about being an inclusive society..we are not. But that’s it or lump it.

And these youths might want to ask themselves, would they have strived as hard to fit in if their community was much larger as in Melbourne?

The programme also raises the question for me about why Maori youth cannot emulate the success these African refugees are having job wise. Maybe that’s a cultural issue we should remedy first before worrying about others?

An answer to one of your questions; a brilliant piece by “Voice Artist” Antonio Te Maioha, who, incidentally, was raised in your rohe. Decolonise your mind!

The Melbourne thing seems to be a non-event in reality; the only damage was when stones were thrown at some police cars, there were no injuries or anything like that.

        Corky’s making quantum leaps again.

Censorship is a stain in a free society, the right of a rebuttal is a sign of a free society. The”woke”rightwinger sean plunket, spouts on about free speech untell he shouts over a guest who then points out his shortcomings, IE no one wants to be interviewed by a screaming righty who over screams.

Still soaking up the punishment on Magic Talk? Surprised you are not listening to red radio yet.

      {sarc}No host ever talks over on of their guest on red radio. {/sarc}

They untell but not until they have, Kim Hill style, spoken a woke leftists viewpoint with a prologue so long there is no time for any guest to answer a single question from the multiple questions raised in the prologue before being interrupted by another monologue.

When I was growing up in Mt Maunganui, one of my favourite pastimes was hiring a canoe and paddling around the moored boats. The things I shouldn’t have seen looking through portholes. However, if things were lax on the high seas, I could always indulge my passion of watching Japanese rush out of the local public toilets holding their nose in disgust. They would head for the water and wash their face and hands.

I love our superior Western culture..but in this regard, compared with the Japanese, we are barbarians. Us Roundies still have a few things to learn.

You can’t even get racist slurs right ! Roundies ? Is that meant to be ’round-eyes’ , which you have been told is not, in fact, used by Orientals ?

What a pervert you sound, Gawping through portholes (I can guess what you hoped to see) and gaping at publlc loos…it’s a wonder that nobody made a complaint about you. I find it hard to believe that there were that many Japanese visitors in Mt Maunganui or that the loos were so bad that they would behave in this way.

YOU may have a lot to learn; don’t assume that everyone does..

Western cultures are in their infancy compared with Asian ones. Superior ? How insular.

The West doesn’t have a single culture, of course.

Was this in the days before there were flushing loos ? It sounds like it.

According to the news,120,000 kids haven’t taken up an offer of free dental treatment. Any guesses of what type of parent is involved? For me there is none. I know what most of these parents will be like.

Pilot Bay… a source of much entertainment for us local kids. Once we got sick of looking in portholes, we would wait just off shore and watch the world go by. Of course, the port would supply a steady stream of Japanese sailors, depending on what ships were in dock. Naturally Pilot Bay had two public convenience along the shoreline. Both had Japanese signage.

Of course, if you aren’t a native of the area, you naturally know fug all about the area.😎⚓️.
