What could he credibly say that would make it any better that two polls that come out so wildly different in party support indications that they’re both useless both manage to agree that so is he.

It was excruciating enuf watching Paula pretend that it doesn’t matter & that he has the National Parliamentary team’s full support.

Tova O’B’s spiteful comments on 3 just now were a disgrace and totally lacking in objectivity.

She accused National (at length) of sticking their fingers in their ears and going lalalalala….it was a childish display of personal spite and was completely uncalled for.

Polls are propriatry news…you have to say Newshub poll.
They aren’t going to say that
Anyway both Newshub and onenews polls have a majority for no legalisation of cannabis.
Reality check for those who werent in touch with reality

Making themselves look stupid or ignorant is more important?

What happens when you fix something that ain’t broke. Worse, when others tell you it’s broke and you listen to them. Idiots.

Gee you mean their trademark had a medieval knight with sword and helmet,
      That was all about what?

Crusades were always a designation for Religious Wars of the period , first described as such about 1740
Time to find another catchy name…maybe something relating to rugby, South island

She was thrown by the KiwiBuild debacle and the Youth Camp fiasco….among other things. She flounders and uses weasel words, or resorts to childish name-calling.

Housing problems never affected national in the polls….prices went through the roof…new builds were very slow to even match those of 10 years before despite migrant taps being turned on. Police budget frozen , road policing budget slashed so less traffic cops.
          All meant nothing

I have been wading through the OIA cabinet paper on the ‘reeferendum’ (released 7/5/19) by Mr Little’s office

    Very detailed.. good stuff

BUT: it makes it clear that ‘decrim.’ (whatever that means) is NOT on the agenda & a NO vote will only give us the ‘status quo’

I actually dont like the word ‘legalise’ (which is reportedly what they, intend to use in the Y/N question ?) as it is often seen as too broad. The words they do mention in the document ‘Legally Regulated’ (strict list of rules.. not ‘anything goes’) is preferable (IMHO)

    NEEDS; much more public input.

btw: I read that Ken Morgan (aka Dakta Green) – ex-Natl Candidate, is talking about a legal court injunction; to stop it going ahead.. perhaps showing his true colours; ‘our way or the highway’ (typical Tory). He says he does not want Govt. laying down the law or ‘Big Cannabis’.. maybe he should actually, open his eyes, ears & mind ?

    • TV1 news; a poll just released shows 52% now will vote ‘NO’ to ‘Legalise MARIJUANA’ (the words the journos. were constantly using).

BTW: The Reeferendum is on ‘regulating Cannabis’. Just shows how easily some are swung by negative propaganda/divisive words ?!

Most recent polls showed about 60% supported ‘Law reform’, not ‘Status quo’ ??

oh dear.. how sad. I think it is time that, this Govt. actually stopped ‘laying down the law’ & started allowing Public forum/input (as they stated)

You could rewrite his piece, replacing Trump with Ardern and the right events for here and not lose the tone of the opinion piece.

I dont think Tamaki really knows what he wants to be: calls himself a bishop, dresses like a ‘Hells angel’ & is now wanting to get his wife (& others) into politics ?

I think its called ‘Delusions of Grandeur’ ?? :/ 😀

I pointed out at the time Horizon survey, it wasnt a random selected poll at all.

What are you rambling about ‘reform’. The question will be yes/no to legalised cannabis
Even Horizon self selecting survey said the same (latest horizon numbers are only 52% in favour…..hahahaha)
‘Cannabis referendum would pass comfortably, according to poll ‘

Law reform was metely the wording of greens labour agreement

Jacinda Ardern announces in a couple of video clip sound bites on 1news that our ISF training personnel are all coming home from Iraq in a phased withdrawal by mid-2020 as they’re not needed there any more.

Simon gets a 1 one second video sound bite: “It’s the wrong decision”.
Hopeless. No idea when to just shut up or to say – “yep, we agree.”
