‘bend’ them to work harder and for less. What a tremendous success for progress.
Perhaps they could introduce their organ farms as well? That way there is always an organ for your transplant just waiting for when you need it.

/ 8th January 2020It’s ‘rejected names’ time of the year again. And still the lower class refuse to give up trying to give their kids important names. Each of these names opens up an invisible arcana for us to glimpse a generalisation of the environmental genesis that created these monikers.

/ 8th January 2020Some real leaders.
Corky
/ 8th January 2020President Bashar al-Assad. Yes, a real leader. A germicidal genius.
Interesting to see what Trumpy will do now that his bluff has been called. I personally would just retaliate in kind. But if he wants a change of regime he should go for annihilation. He gave fair warning. Warning that has been ignored. He has the moral high ground.

/ 8th January 2020The gas attack with chlorine was found to be just the normal levels of chlorine found in homes…along with the other discrepancies. It was a snow job by Western intelligence agencies to hype up the anti Assad propaganda. Yes it’s a brutal dictatorship but so is Saudi Arabia….buying US weapons wasn’t an option for Assad to get into Trump’s good books
Corky
/ 8th January 2020I think seer here missed his mark. Let’s hope Trumpy aims straight. Any attack involving collateral damage will have the Left in raptures.

/ 9th January 2020Ever heard of allowing your opponent to save face? And the advantages of such a strategy? Trumpy is in control. Only the truly powerful can afford to be magnanimous.
Alan Wilkinson
/ 9th January 2020Trump was clear American lives and assets were the issue. He is obviously happy to wear a damaged tent and helicopter in exchange for terminating two of Tehran’s top commanders. If the loony Left and mad Mullahs like to spin that as a back-down Trump will be laughing all the way to his reelection.

/ 8th January 2020there must have been a fair few lying around in Iraq after the Bush/Blair fiasco that killed a million people.
Alan Wilkinson
/ 8th January 2020And Afghanistan where the Russians got in first. Bush, Blair and Putin have killed orders of magnitude more people than Trumpy.
Kitty Catkin
/ 8th January 2020That is hardly a justification. Stalin probably killed more than Pol Pot. That doesn’t make Pol Pot less culpable.
Alan Wilkinson
/ 8th January 2020Seems like a fair justification to me. Especially as Trump’s targets are the villains pulling the strings rather than ordinary people and pawns.

/ 8th January 2020We often have beanies in New Zealand whining about how tough things are here. If I had my way these prats would be taken to a hall, have their eyes held open like Alex in A Clockwork Orange, and made to watch this. Whether they would make a connection and comparison to their lives would be a moot point.

/ 9th January 2020I’d like to see more of this. State funded celebrityism is an unnecessary cost, as well as stuffing up the lives of the children.
Kitty Catkin
/ 9th January 2020I can’t see the Duchess wanting to step out of the limelight and give up her new luxurious lifestyle; this seems to be wanting to have a bob each way.
Kitty Catkin
/ 9th January 2020And can they really be called ‘senior’ Royals ?
I wonder how they will justify flying between the two places.
Alan Wilkinson
/ 9th January 2020Is it really newly luxurious? She was a well-paid actress so I don’t think she lacked for anything before. And I can certainly see her wanting to give up the incessant tabloid and social media bitchy backstabbing attacks she has suffered for the past year or so. Who needs the public to think they own your life?
Kitty Catkin
/ 9th January 2020Her lifestyle was hardly as luxurious as it is now; she was a television actress, not a Hollywood film star.
If the public are paying for your lifestyle, they tend to expect something in return. She wasn’t so averse to publicity when she was on television getting her kit off and doing sex scenes in whatever the soap was that she was in. Don’t tell me that anyone who’s in television doesn’t court publicity. Or that anyone who’s living that life has never heard of tabloid papers; the US has plenty of them.
People can’t have it both ways.
If Prince Harry really is so averse to cameras and suffers trauma every time he sees one, he is very talented at hiding it.
Alan Wilkinson
/ 9th January 2020She earned $US450k per year and accumulated US$5M in assets apparently. The US tabloids are nowhere near as vicious as the UK ones. Yes, the public expect something in return which they have decided is more than the pay is worth so they are walking away from that job.
