If providing opinions on or summaries of other information also provide a link to that information. Bloggers are welcome to summarise and link to their posts. Comments worth more exposure may be repeated as posts. Comments from other forums can be repeated here, cut and paste is fine.

Your NZ is a mostly political and social issues blog but not limited to that, and views from anywhere on the political spectrum are welcome. Some ground rules:

  • If possible support arguments, news, points or opinions with links to sources and facts.
  • Please don’t post anything illegal, potentially defamatory or abusive.

FIRST TIME COMMENTERS: Due to abuse by a few, first comments under any ID will park in moderation until released (as soon as possible but it can sometimes take a while).

Sometimes comments will go into moderation or spam automatically due to mistyped ID, too many links (>4), or trigger text or other at risk criteria. If they pass muster they will be released as soon as possible (it can sometimes take hours).

Stuff…’. Goldman Sachs expects the economy to shrink at a sickening 24 per cent annual rate in the April-June quarter. That would be, by far, the worst quarterly drop on record. Just days before, Goldman had projected a 5 per cent annual drop in that period.’

The death knell of globalisation has sounded with a reality T.V star as head of the most powerful nation on earth.

The irony is both magnificent and tragic.

The world will never be the same.

How will we get through this crisis if the rightwing posters over on YSB are proudly bragging that they give fake details on the detail register at pubs and restaurants in case of an outbreak of corana virus. They are no better than tourists not self isolating, maybe the telcos can shut down this disgusting blog of the hate filed right

I’d swap her for Boris any day, Lurch. He’s out there organising private enterprise to find and provide solutions while Jacinda is just shutting everything down and hoping someone else will come to her rescue.

What about all those rich Yanks hunkering down in their Aotearoa hideaways?`

Private jets; private security and well stocked bunkers. Of course they have medical devices and procedures thirty years ahead of their time..maybe more. Things like diamond patches for skin cancer. Cayce wet cell devices and the Radiac. Other devices are so fantastic I won’t mention them.. some wouldn’t be able to get their heads around that reality…or the science underpinning them. I’m afraid paracetamol will be as good as it gets for you, Lurchy. 😃

And what about Mikey? With less traffic, Mikey can open up the Porsche and enjoy its true potential. Ah, the RIGHT way, is the best way.

If you think that leftwingers don’t have these luxury items, you’re dreaming. Look at the way Lenin and Stalin lived…and Putin now.

Lenin and Stalin and all those other socialist dictators weren’t socialists, were they? Only the people they rule are. I mean, look at Kim Yuk fut. He didn’t get his body by following the standard North Korean gastronomic fare, did he.

For a moment there I wondered if any of those calling for an ‘extreme shutdown’ were those carrying on as usual and bragging about providing fake details on registers at pubs and restaurants.

I don’t know what’s happened to Chuck. I knew him quite well some years ago, and while he was always a bit odd at times, he wasn’t as he is now. It’s a damned shame.

When I look back, I think that the signs were there to some extent, but it’s a real shame as he was a nice bloke then. He’s been to our house several times and I’ve been to his.

Mikey was regaling the news room with a story about something I had forgotten about, but once owned – a K-Tel Home Hair Dressing Comb. It was shaped like a Star Wars fighter and trimmed hair as you combed. [Deleted – don’t try to inflame] Ah, the good old days..when lock down was something that happened in Sci-Fi movies.

I heard Siouxsie Wiles last night on the news agreeing with the lockdown and offing soothing advice. What Siouxsie isn’t telling you though is that science doesn’t know what a virus really is- believe it or not.

Good to see Mikey agreeing with me regarding the Wests reaction to Coronavirus compared with Asian countries. We really need a good hard look at ourselves should the world survive this outbreak. That would be good for RIGHTIES. Wokism; denigrating our way of life; stupidity over immigration..and the climate change scam, would all go. How the Left would reinvent itself, I don’t know. But it would be interesting to watch.

Meanwhile Mikey interviewed a NZ company that has a device available that checks for Corona infection from swab to result in 50 minutes. Test results are excellent.
